Heck yeah!! The game that inspired many a lost soul of the early 2000's and thus constructed an army of RPG and paper-loving fans who would forever clamor for all the great characters of times pass that sadly would never again gain more screen time...like...Bobbery or Vivian! Hooktail! Rawk Hawk! GOD I loved this game! It's an absolute classic. If Nintendo does announce a new one, I won't care, because you can't beat this one.
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is my all-time favorite game!! No need to say I HOPE Nintendo announces a new Paper Mario this E3. But please, if they do, let it be a traditional RPG like the first two PM games, with new characters, new environments, the return of the stage-play battles, etc...
One of my all-time favorites, especially on the Gamecube ! This theme is quite catchy even though it gets a little old since you got to visit the sewers very often...
This is my favorite game of all time. I'm not getting my hopes up, but a new game in the series would be amazing, a true fourth entry.
This was the one paper mario game that I missed, and because it is being so praised I feel bad for missing out on it. I hope the big N makes a port of some kind for it because I really want to try it out without using an unofficial emulator.
This song has always been really catchy and relaxing. I'm hoping the next Paper Mario is more like the first two. Super Paper Mario had an awesome story and characters, but I didn't care much for the combat, and the only thing I liked from Sticker Star was the music and a few areas like the mansion.

Not to mirror your comment, but... yeah, this is one of my favorite games of all time, and I'm really really really REALLY hoping for a new traditional Paper Mario for the Wii U.

Has anyone seen Revenge of the Nerds? The start of this reminds me of the song they play.
I get the feeling we will definitely see a new Paper Mario soon. Maybe not this year, but soon. The two Mario RPG franchises seem to release one after the other. First Paper Mario, then Superstar Saga. Then Thousand-Year Door and then Partners in Time. Then Super Paper Mario and then Bowser's Inside Story. Then Sticker Star and then Dream Team. So, in keeping with this pattern, a new Paper Mario must be on its way.

Nintendo, just announce a new Paper Mario game this year and I'll be happy. Nothing too fancy, just a normal Paper Mario RPG with new paper mechanics, let's forget Sticker Star happened. TTYD is one of my favorite games ever, so I'd also be happy with a 3DS port so I can play it anywhere. I always loved this underground theme: ambient but backed by a nice beat... feels like you're in a mysterious digital world.

@SupraDarky Yes, please! A new Paper Mario announced at E3 would make me a very happy man. I'd love to see how they'd expand the Battle System, especially the Badges and Partners.

@SupraDarky IS IT LIKE TTYD o_o Man....I played when i was super little, was too scared of going through the final "dungeon", but finally beat it last summer XD
@SupraDarky There's a point where I'll stop hoping to get a 3DS and begin devoting all my savings towards getting one - that point will be when a TTYD3D is announced. I haven't gotten a console recently because of how much they and their games cost, but I've heard TTYD is a lot more creative than Super Paper Mario - a game I enjoyed because of its creativity. Wonder if Nintendo takes firstborns...
@SupraDarky Hey SD, in your last upload you forgot to link a previous entry for Extreme-G. #178 is also from the first Extreme-G game, but #1780 doesn't mention it. Maybe you could fix that? :)

@ShinParisu You must not have played Paper Mario: Sticker Star yet because they threw all the Paper Mario formulas out the window and just "stuck" Paper Mario on the cover to sell copies. Fighting doesn't give you exp, exploration is boring, no badges or partners... at least Super Paper Mario still did most things right and was an enjoyable game to play.
Hmmm... Sticker star was my first paper mario, and I loved it so much ! But then I played TTYD, and realized why there was so much hate against sticker star. The wii one is also terrible...
@Gil Cecil THANK YOU I hated Super Paper Mario (AKA The Wii One) And no @Zack Bond I didnt play Sticker Star... too long I got sick of it soon enough. At least I did FINISH Super Paper Mario. The only Salvageable part was Francis the "Otaku Chameleon" with his Babe Interface thing or whatever.
@SupraDarky So they didn't quite do this, instead they announced a crossover with the Mario & Luigi series (Paper Jam). How do you feel about this? While I'd prefer another game like TTYD, I think this is a good step in the right direction... unless the paper mario in the game is entriely his Sticker Star representation.
@sety holsety Sticker Star was such a bad game. Simply put, Paper Mario is not about being Paper... It's about Mario&Luigi-like controls and being a Mario RPG game with partners. Interesting... It looks like Paper Mario is the partner now.
@Zack Bond I really agree with you, as an avid fan of the traditional RPG formula I was shocked and disappointed as I learned more about SS, and came to understand that it has essentially none of the elements I liked about the first 2 Paper Mario games. No leveling, no partners, no badges. Who in their right mind makes a Paper Mario game without experience points, partners or badges? Even the plot was minimal... To this day I can't wrap my head around it at all, Intelligent Systems is usually so damn competent.
@sety holsety You're right; I'm looking at their list of games and there are plenty of good games. I wonder what so wrong with Sticker Star...
