This came with my GB Color bundle, and at first, I was like why did I even get this game. Little did I know...
I distinctly remember one of my playthroughs of Pokemon Trading Card Game I made this uber-awesome Fire-Grass themed deck which focused primarily on Fire and Bug-type Pokemon and I remember just steamrolling many opponents with a Beedrill I had in that deck.

omg this music. THE NOSTALGIA!... and now i realize how old I am, IM ANCIENT! :( Oh but this tune is so good, I don't care! That build up around 1:23 at always gets my heart pumping.
I repeat myself, but I absolutely admire and love the GB and GBC sound chip.
@ElleRoni I think GBC soundtracks don't get nearly enough love. Dragon Warrior Monsters and Final Fantasy Legends III for example, are almost unheard of, but some of the soundtrack is soo good.

+R4d0m Human I was one of the few at my school who actually knew how to play to begin with. Kind of annoying, actually, because I had nobody to play against as a result! The game just helped me improve a lot... although it did help me discover the power of the Rain Dance deck and the usefulness of Professor Oak and Bill cards. (If only I had enough money to set myself up with that many uncommons and rares - and people to play it with! though there was that one guy I used to play all the time) This game was a rare gem, though, surprisingly fun. Even if there were way too many freaking coin tosses.

I loved this game when I was a kid. Hell, I used to collect Pokemon trading cards, yet I had no idea how to play the game... until I played this game! So many good memories with this game. I eventually found myself just dueling against the same NPCs again and again in my completed file, and still having fun. This game also had a great soundtrack with lots of memorable tunes! <3

I remember spending countless hours in this game. Lots of fun with a great soundtrack. Slowly working through it once again on my 3DS :P

Back from a healthy vacation, got to recharge my battery and I'm now ready for the start of my favorite time of the year: May to September. I love Summer. E3 being around the corner is also always exciting. Anyways, Pokemon TCG was a great little game with a surprisingly solid soundtrack, though I was more addicted to the real Pokemon card game at the time. Good times!
@SupraDarky Oh right, I wanted to ask! Are you looking forward to the Yooka Laylee soundtrack, or have even heard of the game? It was announced just a day or so after you went on vacation if I recall correctly.

@Roofeosama There isnt one? i remember there is an actual Pokemon TCG you can play, it even let you put a code from any booster pack you bough. Unless it died while i wasnt paying attention thats the best we got ):
@MilesPrower Perhaps online but for console no. We only got one. Japan had a sequel but it never got an American release. Should have gotten it when I was in Japan...
Such a great game... when I was a kid, I was so sad when I found out I lost it on vacation. Must've left it in the rental house, hopefully for some other kid to pick up, and have the time of their lives with. I somehow liked this game more than the actual trading card game. I suppose it's because I wasn't a social kid, and I liked getting the sense that I was good at something, even when I wasn't really.
