Same it really was the first great game for the PS2 even though it had random dungeons which i also hate, my favourite sword was Dark Cloud it bore the same name as the game and was pretty badass!
I played this on the demo and finally bought it several years ago (maybe 2008 ? don't remember) and I really enjoyed it, except for one thing : the postgame dungeon. It's too long and enemies take forever to kill XD Aside from that this game is really good for its time (iirc it's like one of the first rpg on the ps2 ?) and I recommend it if you like the genre ^^
Do people even know Dark Cloud 1 and 2? A shame that a lot of people forgot about them.

Also known as the Corridor of Time, according to other videos. Looking at my comments in the other picks, it's hard to believe it's been over 6 years since I played.
Ow, right in the nostalgia. I can't even remember if I actually beat the game, I do have some faint memories of trying to get through that silly 100-floor dungeon though, so I must've.
I love this game so much. I'm glad to see another song from it on here, the first Dark Cloud track on the list was uploaded in 2007...where has the time gone? :o
Played this on a demo disc way back but never picked up the actual game. The thing I actually liked about it was the pseudo-city building aspect.
This series needs to come back, I really enjoyed the 1st game & the 2nd one was a huge game, kept me occupied for months!

@Vhyper1985 The developers Level 5, which made the dark cloud games, will be releasing a game for the ps4 called Wonder Flick. They say it will be an extensive game with music done by Nobuo Uematsu. It sounds like its going to be a really cool game if it gets released in the US.
One of the first great games I played from the PS2 generation, I really liked it even with its random dungeons structure which I'm rarely a fan of. This dark theme was quite memorable as you neared the end of the game. Nice touch with the ticking clock.
@SupraDarky Did you have a favorite sword or weapon? The 7th Heaven was my favorite just because it looks so awesome.
