Wonderful game with beautiful music... I LOVE this theme.. evokes soo much emotion.. I find it great to listen too and reflect on things.. the good the bad.. but mostly the lessons I've learned and how to better myself.. 😎

I had some good times with this game back in 2015. It's so tempting to try and get back into it.
My pal once said Level 5 was a pathetic excuse of a game developer, now he eats with a mechanical straw.
Just played through this game for the first time. Pretty good overall, though it's definitely flawed in some areas (such as the really high encounter rate, and how much you have to spam AOE spells). This is also the best song in the game, IMO, and the rest of the soundtrack was pretty forgettable.
This is just fantastic!
Nice! This was my favourite game on the ps2. I used to just stand in one spot in the desert just to hear this great track.

I practically don't know anything about this game, but jeez this is an absolutely fantastic piece of VGM. Somehow manages to be haunting and comforting at the same time.

I enjoyed it, though at points it was just "enter fight and use your strongest AoE to clear it instantly". The factory and insectron minigames were pretty neat.
+Sephiko Man that Trinity move, every battle. That is the only thing I remember from this game.

I wish I'd finished this when I had the chance. Now I don't have the game anymore and it's probably cost prohibitive to get it again...

I know it's been a year since you have written this comment but there is a way for you to play. I don't really recommend because you need to pirate download the .ISO for the game or you can extract it from the CD but it's difficult. If you want to know how to play the game just send me a message and I will reply when I see it
Level 5 is bae
A game I've always wanted to play. I heard it's quite similar to Level 5's other series, Dark Cloud, is it indeed the case? I'm not the biggest Dark Cloud fan, but I still beat both games so I certainly had fun with them. Just never really liked randomized dungeons. This game's visuals are certainly pleasant and the music seems very nice. After this game, Nishiura went on to become Professor Layton's composer.
Possibly the most underrated RPG I've ever played. You gotta try it. I was skeptical and bought it on a whim. Got hooked from beginning to end. Still waiting on a sequel years later.
Should give it a try. Its one of my all time favorite games. beautiful music, interesting characters and locations, Fun minigames and a good replay value. it always reminds me of a what-if thing if dark cloud developers did a star wars type game...a lot of the characters feel very star wars inspired. a boy from a desert planet dreaming of traveling into space. a tall lanky robot and a short and fat guy feel very R2-D2 and C-3po ish. the boy not really knowing *who* his real parents were...a lot in the line of that kinda stuff. just a down right awesome sci-fi fantasy game in my opinion.
It's fairly similar. The attacks feel a lot better because they're flat-out bigger, and you've got three people running around hitting things, so there's less of a panic around fighting big things. There's a pretty big hiccup with the whole party thing, though, and it's that Jaster is the only one who can use the context-specific guns you get. So you may be enjoying ripping things up as one character, and then - oh! An enemy with a shield! Now you HAVE to swap to Jaster to make it damageable. So there's THAT... ...and then there's what happens with at the end of the game with translations. I don't know who Level5 goes to for their translating, but they need to fire those people. Or set them ON fire. Everything else is YMMV.
This game and Xenoblade Chronicles are very awesome yet hugely underappreciated RPGs.
i couldn't pass the combat system. Maybe i'll force me to finish it one day
I found it boring honestly its nice concept art but it was rather empty not much draw to the charecters or story
The game has a pretty excellent start but falls victim to some incredibly tedious and never-ending dungeons in its 2nd half.

@SupraDarky Dude, this game is good, but is sooo long. It not have random dungeons, but the scenarios are very huge. It have good characters too.
Amazing music, decent story, OK gameplay. Worth watching a LP or trying yourself.
