Hearthstone's music is so damn good, it's definitely one of the first things I noticed about it and one of the things that got me into it. I wish they would add more though, preferably on a per-expansion basis

Liked the game but dropped it after couple of days. Love the style but it costs too much free time in my opinion. These games are not my type (except from yugioh) xD. Sry for the english ... Its early in the morning.

I put a lot more money into this game getting cards, than I ever intended to (could have gotten 3 triple A titles for that). And then some more for gnome vs goblins. But I don't like Arena, so now I still don't have quite enough cards to play the decks I want in GvG. So I stopped playing. And that combination of decision proves, that I am not the smartest gamer ever.

I'm not into card games, but it's very fun to watch others play. Very stylish, colorful and full of energy. It's a blast.
Just like with the Diablo 3 expansion, I played this game a lot when it released but eventually dropped it after 2-3 months. I could have kept playing but I'd rather try new games as I have less and less free time unfortunately. Very addicting, but I still have to question its depth compared to other card games, something current players might be able to clarify. Expansions must definitely help. I really like how Blizzard managed to make a card game that's not too intimidating to new players (plus it's free for those who are simply curious). Makes me want to play right now actually!
Its simplified compared to other card games like magic but still a lot of fun, I dig it.
GvG kind of made it rolling a dice game. Don't play this rng mess right now. Especially if you have to farm so many cards to keep up with other player's decks. Arena is the only thing I play from time to time. But this is even more luck based than normal matches. It may be free-to-play but it is also pay to win if you're not lucky enough to get like 5 legendarys in your packs.
The game is more simple than others so you won't find the depth and variety of strategies you see in Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh. However this might be what saves the game from having as many unbalanced cards and mechanics as more developed and aged card games do, specially due to its commercial nature. In sense of balancing, I think Hearthstone is way better than those, even if there is still a lot of RNG (specially since the last expansion...) and some OP cards.
@Winged Mad Hearthstone can also take back cards while TCG cannot. So that helps a lot for balancing as well.
I can't stand playing this game, but I absolutely love watching it. Funny thing, that!
@ThiefSakon The rng gvg is no where near as bad as you are claming. Also,there are competitive decks that don't run any legadries at all or even epics for that.
To name a few ... unstable portal, piloted shredder, piloted sky golem, crackle, boom bot, imp-losion, sneeds, and getting spare parts in general. And these are mostly the cards that are used in ladder. That doesn't even count the old cards. Arena is a whole different level with its ogres n'stuff. Not so many which can compete with decks with legendary cards. So please, tell me more.
The only heavy rng cards you named are unstable portal and sneeds,the others are farily preditable.Sneed is really not played right now anyway. Zoo and certain hunters run 0 legendaries cards and are capable of reaching legend fairly easily.
@***** You don't know what you are talking about.Neptulon is awesome. Also,the nerfed undertaker because it has too good for 1 mana. Even now it's a pretty strong card.

He is good in almost every midrange and control shaman deck.Getting 4 more minions that can also buff each other is insane against control decks. Destroying a 1 cost minion with a 1 cost spells is very reasonable.UT was just way too good before the nerf.
@Szadek23 It's not about the fact that they are predictable. It's about you getting an advantage just because you had luck. What does "heavy" in this context even mean? If you got lucky, you got lucky. With the nerf of Undertaker Hunter is pretty much gone and I haven't seen anyone playing zoo for a long time. Mech Mage is the predominant aggro deck you see. And even that has legendaries like Antonidas, Toshley or Doctor Boom since he is just too op atm. I'm done. SD probably didn't want a HS discussion in his comments anyway.

It doesn't matter that much which cards you get.Even in the worst case the cards are still useful. You don't even need to be that luck.Most of the time 1 good murloc is enough to give you an huge adventage. There is always a use for the ones with charge,too. Health usually isn't a big problem in control match ups,but cards adventage is. As a shaman you have enough cards in your deck to control the board anyway,but you don't have enough card draw.

Adventurer is not out of range of mechbearcat anytime soon,too and he can still be silenced Also.Chugger either was just summoned or already attacked. There was no reason for to say checkmate. You got a lorewalker out of shredder. So what?It doesn't give you a free win or lose eiher way and it almost never happens anyway. The other play still has cards in his hand,too. If you have such a big problem with luck you shouldn't play card games anyway. It's inherently part of the genre.
