I love this music and this game. Oddly enough though this sparked an odd chain of music listening events that lead to me listening to the Ace Combat 3D Cross Rumble ost, which as I am now discovering, even though I own the game, is absolutely incredible. I can't believe half that music was in a portable game.
this game was ass, i mean i played it and yea it was kirby but it didnt have that snes charm, gamecube hit it solid with Kirby Air Ride, the levels in this game were so short, for a nintendo 64 game it was very linear, look at mario 64, kirby 64 would have done so well especially with all of kirbys abilities, instead kirby got this
This game is awful, a very bad game. It's just bad. The only people who like it are kids or grown men who won't let those memories let go. I used to love this game, then i figured out how awful it actually is... sad because i really loved it when i was a kid. The nes and snes kirbies are actually good though.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the drum beat was made by banging on trash cans or something, anyways amazing track, love the whole Crystal Shards soundtrack!

Kirby 64's soundtrack is so underrated. It's easily my favorite OST on the N64 and deserves way more recognition than it gets, particularly on sites like OCRemix. There are only 2 remixes from Crystal Shards on OCR (and of course, they're both amazing)

The Air Ride arrange of this track is amazing.
I'm greatly looking forward to Rainbow Curse for Wii U, especially since Canvas Curse was one of my favorite games for DS and the Kirby series in general. Hopefully they don't tone down the challenge. Kirby 64 was an excellent game as well, with a soundtrack that has a surprisingly nice balance of happy and darker themes.
