I liked the jazzy feel of the original, but this version is good too. Feels like it belongs in a bright cave tho. Like a cavern

The repeated triangle (?) noise makes it really annoying to listen. I mean, without it I'm sure it'd be great to listen to, but with it... ehh.

When I saw the thumbnail, I was hoping it to be Battle! Zinnia or the Battle Frontier remix. This is just as good, I guess.
wow, this sounds fantastic! i'm more excited for the soundtrack release than the game. (don't kill me, I'm just not a fan of remakes/ports unless it's something i haven't already played yet)
The organ needs some getting used to but it sounds amazing (so rich in sound!) I can't wait to play this! My last pokemon game was gold...when I got it with my advance :O :D

i was trying to hold off on the soundtrack for this game cause it is literally my top reason for playing.. but this was one of my favorite themes.. god i cant wait till i get this next week ;_;

Welp, I officially can't keep up with all the Pokémon releases! The Ruby version on the GBA is the last game in the series I put tons of hours in and almost 100%'d, so I have fond memories when listening to the remake's soundtrack. I always liked this little theme and this version is even better than the original, I love the percussion and the triangle mixed with the harp and bass.
yeah same here. i never got a handheld after GBA so i havent played any of the new pokemon games. they look pretty fun though. but i kinda wish they would make a really nice looking pokemon game...maybe when nintendo makes a new console they will stick one on their with HD graphics.
@One Above All You really should get a 3DSXL and check out Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, it looks amazing, the graphics are crisp and really beautiful, it's the nicest looking and best feeling pokemon game I've played in a LONG time (Gen II was by far the best I'd played, then Gen III was nice, but definitely not my favourite, but these remakes make me have a whole new appreciation for Hoenn.)
+SupraDarky I hope you get a chance to play these remakes. They are really well done, to include the soundtrack. Like you, Gen3 was the one i dumped the most hours into back then.
