Ha. I loved this game series up to Deadlock. The new stuff is not as good as the classics for PS2. When I first got this as a kid looking at the booklet I was like "Wow look at all the gear and guns I can get" Loved this game and its music.
Ratchet and Clank 1 and 2 are my favorites in the series, can't wait for the 1 remake next year!
Oh how i wish the new games from this series were as good as the 3 first, really. The new ones are just trying too hard

Unfortunately they butchered the story, cut out quite a few levels and made the soundtrack generic as fuck q.q
I loved the first three games in the series. (the ones I played) Such a beautiful amalgam of genres and instrumentation for the music. It really stands out against the many because of the soundtrack. It's the right amount of action and urgency and puzzling exploration and taking in the scenery calmness.
This conjures up great memories. Christmas 2002: my brother and I received a PS2 and a game for it each. My brother's was Final Fantasy X, and this was mine. I remember firing it up for the first time that day: how amazing it looked, how satisfying it was to play. This quickly became a favourite series for both of us. Breathtaking!
R&C, J&D, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, man, what a childood.

If you're doing Ratchet & Clank then the Planet Yeedil theme from the second game is absolutely incredible. It's the perfect last stage theme
I didn't play the Ratchet and Clank series. It was The Jax and Daxter series that I played for the PS2. I absolutely liked the J and D series. I may want to play this series since it has similar elements to J&D.
You definitely do. Each installment is amazing.
The first three games are amazing and while Deadlocked wasn't too bad, it was lacking that extra something. Then you have Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time, both absolutely amazing games, and Into the Nexus is a good game as well. Quest for Booty was short and lacking something, and All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault both tried to be too different to try something new to be as amazing as the core titles.
I love this game Favorite of my childhood. The second one is the best. I enjoyed them a bit more than Jak and Daxter.
This song, metropolis, logging site, and Novalis are the best songs in the game. Funny story about this song too, when I first got this game I had no idea what to expect, after I heard this I instantly knew that I had to play every game in the series.
Ratchet and clank: up your arsenal is one of my favorite games of all time. And I think the Aquatos Sewers music is my favorite track from the game.
Uploading a Turok track and saying it had an awesome arsenal of weapons immediately made me think of Ratchet & Clank, a series that has mastered entertaining gameplay. I still remember playing this game and hearing this theme when you first take control of Ratchet, not knowing it would develop into such a great series. Very pleasant and uplifting soundtrack.
Never played R&C. This makes me think of some Spyro 3 music, though. Odd considering the R&C composer is not the same as in Spyro 3.
