I really couldn't get into this game. Everything was way too slow, from your movement, to the battle sequences, to the loading times (at times). I'm still willing to try WA4 at some point though.
i haven't gotten around to playing this series yet, but the artwork tends to remind me of Trigun.
Holy crap, the opening of this song sounded kind of like a techno remix for the Reavers' theme from Firefly...almost crapped myself

Great theme from an odd and excellent game. Naruke was really spot-on in capturing the cold/calculating scientist vibe of the Prophets, who would almost casually blast anyone who interfered with their work with one of those Eliminate Scanner attacks before continuing their investigation of this-or-that ruins/observatory/whatever. It's been a while, so I don't remember what the hell those characters' motivations were, just that they were an extremely off-putting lot who were as persistent as 1990s cartoon-show villains. I'm definitely planning on revisiting this one. Thanks for posting!
By far my favorite Wild Arms....I remember the many times I passed by Blockbuster trying to figure out what to rent and the cover always stood out to me going "play me, plaaaaaaay meeee"...so I did...and I never looked back. I think like 2 days later I bought my own copy and I haven't looked back since. I can honestly say this is by far one of my favorite RPGs and the music alone is just one of the greatest factors as to why.

One of the best games on PS2. Phenomenal soundtrack, awesome characters, great battle system, tons of stuff to do in this game. I just played it recently because I hadn't played it in a while, and I already miss it lol.
I literally just mentioned this game in a comment a few minutes ago... you're still psychic. Surprised you didn't go with the Schrodinger boss theme, which has a Rocking Heart version.
I haven't uploaded something from this game in a long while, eventhough I think this is one of the better Naruke soundtracks. The 3 themes I previously uploaded are some of my favorites in the whole series. I've always liked how there's this mix of western and sci-fi in Wild Arms. This boss theme quickly stands out, bringing out some of those sci-fi elements.
