Gosh i love this so much
I actually enjoyed this game a lot, I prefer Paper Mario 64 and The Thousand Year Door still over this one though, but this game still has its special place, the music is incredible, the gameplay is decent, it has a great story but the ending was a little disappointing. But still... I have great memories of this game because it relaxed me a lot with its great soundtrack! And to be honest, I started it at 2007 but never got the chance to finish it until 2014.

Surprised to see the amount of meh-ness about this game. I thought it was fantastic, music and all!
The game has a fair amount of problems, and the fact that they snapped the Paper Mario formula's metaphorical neck with this game, but besides that... I guess this game is alright.
I'll only have a few times in my life where I can say "Feels so nostalgic... Wow, I must be pretty young." This game had its flaws, but I liked it as a kid. It wasn't too gripping, and even now I'm struggling trying to get through the 6th world (first time) because I keep quitting in the middle. But by its concept, it isn't worse than its prequels, its just different, and that's probably the main reason why people hate it. Of course, I've never played the prequels, and from the little I've seen of TTYD, it's incredibly more creative, so my opinion is just an untested theory. The story of SPM was pretty good, too.
Super Paper Mario is a much better game than a lot of people give it credit for. Sure, it's does depart from the usual turn-based fighting style the first two games had, but on the bright side, it does speed things up. And while this game does have a few flaws, it has a very interesting concept and a surprisingly deep story. I consider it better than the first Paper Mario game (though Thousand Year Door still rules).
I think you can't compare this game to the other Paper Mario games. It's its own thing with the same "look". I love the game for what it is. It's fantastic.
I got this game for christmas a year or two ago, I played through it in the course of a few days. It was the first and only game I've played in the super paper mario series, I didn't like it that much honestly. I think there was way too much plot going on for a mario game, and frustrating puzzles -_- that being said, I really really enjoyed the soundtrack. A lot of memorable tunes, I still listen to a lot of them somewhat often. swoon.exe <3 :)
Awesome game with an equally great soundtrack. It's actually my 2nd favorite Paper Mario after TTYD. Flipside was a pretty cool town hub, as well as its mirrored half Flopside. Loved the mechanics in this game and the humor was as good as ever.
Yea, the game is criminally underrated. I found that if I just forget about the previous two games and judge it on its own merits, the game is phenomenal.
