Are all the SMT series connected in some way? It appears there is the main series, which I heard about through this channel, then Persona and now Digital Devil. Any connecting stories or locations? Or just overall themes. I'm starting Persona 4 and if I'm missing out on cool stuff that ties into that game's story, I want to check it out (assuming I can find it.
Each game is in their own individual world, although in *Shin Megami Tensei* series, the entire series resolves around the war between _Lucifer_, _God_, & you, a human. In a sense, it's a war between Chaos/Demon (_Lucifer_), Law/Heavenly (_God_), or Neutral/Human (_Humanity_). Only *SMT* & *SMT II* has a connection in-between, while the rest is on their own. As for *Persona* series, only *Persona 3* and *Persona 4* has a connection, with the latter being the 'after-years' of the primer (in other words, *P3* characters has grown up while *P4* characters is still on what they are now).

Yes, this is one of the best SMT tracks and one of the best video game rock tracks ever.
It doesn't take long to know it's a SMT track by Meguro. I wonder if we'll ever see a DDS3, especially since the story was pretty much closed in DDS2. At least we still have Persona and the main SMT franchise. I haven't played SMT4 yet on the 3DS, but I'm ooking forward to it, I've heard some great impressions.
I hope you upload some songs from IV, it easily has the best soundtrack out of all main SMT games, at least in my opinion. Boss battle and VR battle are brilliant.
I need to listen to more music from Meguro. He is one of the few composers that I haven't listened to yet. I have a good amount of respect for him as well.
