a perfect game for the last console made by sega. You can say that their swan song was really decent (like panzer dragoon saga on the sega Saturn which is a freaking good game better than ff7 that sadly wasn't mass produced) I simply hope that Shenmue 3 will live up to the 2 other's thanks for posting this song.
Thank you for inspiring me to pick up a Dreamcast and play these games! Truly an unforgettable experience.

Hey Supradarky, did you know there's a kickstarter campaign for Shenmue III?
I kinda look like Ryo and I work in a warehouse in real life, so when I got to the forklift part I was like, "This game was made just for me." xD
I really wish i would of played this back when it first came out.. I got the game in 2010.
One of the most memorable video games I've ever had the joy to play. Both Shenmue 1 and 2 are fantastic and filled with a real and immersed world that the player will become quite attached to. Thanks for the memory as well SupraDarky!
This music reminds me a lot of Joe Hisaishi's work. His pieces from Spirited Away in particular. An understated, echoing piano played against a few soft strings. Wonderful.

Over the course of my gaming life I heard so many great things about Shenmue, but never actually played it. Just from the sheer presentation of it I can see that the game was ahead of its time and why so many people still remember it and talk about it like it came out yesterday. Even though I never played it, I am looking forward of doing so one day and would definitely love to see a sequel, if not just for the dedicated fans that want as much.

You're not alone in enjoying the forklift parts. I loved every second of these games.
Read your manual again, it's "Quick Timer Event", and because of a mistake IGN made now everyone calls it Quick Time Event. lol

Tried to emulate shenmue 2 cause my dc died and couldn't play it. Full of nasty graphic glitches from the emulator and the controls didn't feel right.

After a couple days off, the list is back! Shenmue is the latest series to get a x00 mention, and deservedly so. I know a lot of people who couldn't see this series' appeal at first, but by pushing through ended up loving it just as much as I did.
I saw it immediately.
