Good thing Nintendo had put this game into the ambassador program game list because this game needed recognition and this a pretty fun game even if it came out many years ago. I still play it. =D

Ah, that chick. I was playing it with my cat nearby, every time that thing peeped, my cat would look around like "The hell was that?"
This theme reminds me of how relaxing of an experience this game was... until the ending boss fight/marathon where I died like 90 times because of the time limit of the first 3 stages...
Man, Minish Cap is so underrated. I wish they brought back the mole gloves in a newer Zelda game.

I was wondering when this would make it into your list! Minish Cap is such an underappreciated gem. It came out at a really unfortunate time.
why do you say that? was there another big release or was it just late in the GBA era?
It came out when the DS had been out for a couple of months (in NA at least).
My favorite top down Zelda, easily. It may be "objectively" worse than others but I spent a lot of time having fun with it.
Oh man, if the map was bigger it'd have been amazing. I loved all the tiny secrets to explore- I just wish there would have been more.
How does the gameplay style of this game relate to others in the series, thinkin' of getting this on the VC when it comes out?
It's just like any other 2D Zelda game... except Zelda II, naturally.
Feels a lot like the Oracle games (which Capcom also did). It's not too difficult, but it has some fun dungeons/fights. It also does the sword arts (or whatever they termed them as) thing that Twilight Princess later copied (I guess Wind Waker sort of did it too, but to a much lesser degree).

The Dynasty Warriors series never really got my attention, but it certainly does now with its upcoming spinoff Hyrule Warriors. I honestly don't have high expectations, but it could be refreshingly entertaining. If there's one 3rd company that knew how to make great Zelda games, it's Capcom. The Oracle games and Minish Cap were absolutely solid. I wouldn't mind Nintendo giving them the chance to make another portable game in the series.
@SupraDarky I totally agree! The Capcom Zeldas were my favorite 2D Zelda games by far!

@SupraDarky I have high hopes for hyrule warriors, dynasty warriors is best when attached to an existing franchise. I enjoy the dynasty warrior gundam games more than the regular dynasty warriors games because I enjoy the gundam universe and it lets me play as any character I could ever possibly want to play. Hyrule warriors looks like it's going to have an insane amount of playable characters and that makes me happy.
Minish Cap is my all-time favorite out of all of the handheld LoZ games. Not even out of nostalgia- I played Link to the Past first.
@0c0rena I couldn't agree more about your statement! I've enjoyed the Dynasty Warrior Gundam and One Piece: Pirate Warriors games simply because there's nothing better then playing as some of your favorite characters from the series you love.

@Kenogu Labz Of course lol, I picked it up for GBA as one of the first games I got for it. I didn't touch GBC, so I only had my shitty non-color GB before that.
The Minish cap was my first and only Zelda game, and it definitely was an amazing experience.
@Denied1213 Seriously? I thought Link's Awakening is easily superior to Minish Cap (even though that game is still great, it has a lot of annoying stuff and the story/atmosphere/music is no match for LA).
i wonder, if the Links Awakening remake goes well, if theyll ever remake minish cap? It would be fantastic on the switch, honestly a perfect console to remake it for
