I remember this song. It was in the first Silent Hill movie, minus the speech. I also heard it in the third Silent Hill game, plus the speech. This song is on the official Silent Hill 3 soundtrack, which came with the game, both of which I own.
Ahh... while i don't mind the monologue at the end on its own right, it messes me up when I'm just listening to this song on a playlist while I'm trying to write.

Silent hill music is the perfect example of: (while playing the game) oh man, this sets the mood/feel so perfectly (casual listening) WTF is this bullshit, It sounds like terrible and depressing jazz or something
Its just so beautiful and mysterious at the same time.
Good atmospheric game with good music. It's a direct sequel to the first one but 17 years later and Harry's daughter is the main character. The first level is pretty big and i was feeling very powerless because of the darkness and the big ass enemies you had to avoid.
So creepy but beautiful, this is what i loved about the silent hill soundtracks, they would be weirdly... calming? Really calling for another play through!

I love the music by Yamaoka for this series. It is very hauntingly beautiful to listen to. I have only listened to one soundtrack in this series. That might have to change sometime soon.
Looks like someone just offed Robbie the Rabbit. It seems the Easter Bunny this year will have to be Pyramid Head.
Replaying it right now! Miraculously, it still holds up today, graphically AND gameplay-wise :) And the soundtrack will never get old.
