Underrated gem of an RPG. Simplistic, yet just knew how to entertain.

Wow. Forgot about this game. Worked my ass off so my parents would get me this when I was about 7, I didn't know anything about it, I was just really wanted to be a knight and a hero and I loved how the cover art made it look like he was going on a grand adventure to some far-off mystical land with his pal. I wasn't disappointed.
I remember always seeing this game in stores as a kid but I was always curious about it. I remember having both this game and Final Fantasy 7 in my hands and having to pick one, I went with FFVII (clearly) but I still want to play this game some day.
Can't even tell you how happy I am to see this up. I listened to this OST so much when my daughter was just a wee tot. I think it left an impact. She's 9 now and she picks it out right away.
Weird-ass game, but I remember picking it up on a whim at a mall and having fun with it when I got home. Pretty unique.
And here I thought I was the only person who remembered this game. Not the greatest thing ever made, but definitely a worthwhile bit of entertainment.

+Maurice Chagall You mean like in the fighting games? Yeah, I think I know what you mean. I think it's something about that mix of smooth harmonica and synth melody, the harp in the background and a very dynamic rhythm that's very SWR-like.

I believed for many years that this game only existed in my dreams. So when I actually heard people talk about it on the internet it blew my mind. Turns out I had played a demo at some point.
Strange this music track reminds me of... I dunno what RPG o.o But it really gives me chills and sounds great :)
It kinda has a Kirby feel to me (especially at the start), and at 0:34, there's an instrument that sounds like one used often in Wild Arms (you may have to listen closely to hear it, I can't remember what it's called), so that might be it.
@Mdude360 yeah it has some kirby into it.. and also a bit Grandia but still it's not the most familiar music of the game I recognize :/

oh man i love this game, and some of the music is just fantastic.
I really liked this game when I bought it as a kid, I haven't replayed it since then. I still remember the FMV intro perfectly well (#151). Very easy game for people new to the genre, but also very refreshing for RPG veterans. The main reason I bought this game back then was because I read some reviews and it said you could use items like hamburgers, bubble gum, candy bars, etc., which immediately reminded me of Earthbound. Turns out it's a very different game, but I'm glad I bought it!
I liked this song. Never heard of the game though. I'll have to take a look at the soundtrack for this game.
