| remember when I first played this game, it confirmed the generational leap in power the snes had over the nes. It sounds so profound to say this but some memories remain forever, and the soundtrack to Castlevania IV is one of the greatest ever.

0:04-0:09 sounds like from The Last Crusade "The Penitent Man Will Pass"
For some reason, the "Cave" tune always sounded very emotional to me. And so does the "Waterfall" theme that plays after you exit the cave.
I had a Genesis growing up and all of my buds had SNES's. This was the exact thing that showed me how really powerful the SNES was back in the day. Put through a good stereo system, and it's still as beautiful as ever. GREAT CHOICE!

super castlevania was so fun i played it nonstop for about 3 weeks before that i had not played in roughly 13years but 13 years ago i was one of the best beat everything in one try now i can get to the dragons but i always end up dying once on that map not sure why i can still beat dracula and other bosses easy i always fell on one of the hooks i would hit it then my guy would fall as if i missed i think it is a glitch more then anything
Super Castlevania 4 is the - LAST - of the great Castlevania's. They have been playing catch-up ever since.

Heh...yea, when I first played Ninja Gaiden for the orignal Xbox.....I kept dying and I couldn't beat the very first boss. I'm not a bad gamer even though I don't play games as much as I used too .
I was a bigger fan of Clockwork Mansion, but almost all Castlevania music is ridiculously awesome ;)
