I now feel the intense need to re-play the first two Dark Souls games. If only my PC could run Dark Souls 3 I'd be set, but I guess I'll just keep obsessively playing those first two until something in my PC dies and I finally have an excuse to upgrade.
Seek, seek, lest
This tune represents the game as whole well to me, in that it conveys solace, loneliness, solitude. A peculiar example, albeit not my first, in that I think it's a good tune, yet dislike it for how depressing it sounds to me.
After hearing that Ssng for dozens of hours, I must say it really gets annoying. I think the Firelink BGM was better

This game is definitely a LOT tougher than the first but I'm really enjoying it.. I have learnt that my souls are incredibly hard to keep and this was noticeable when in the Lost Bastille, all the knights just charge at you as soon as you entered the doorway and instead of bursting into tears, I just burst into laughter at how screwed I was.
I'm about four hours into the PS3 version SupraDarky—I won't spoil anything, but you have nothing to fear. At least so far, Dark Souls 2 is just as good as the first, and probably better. I love it. Can't wait to play more later after work. :)

I'm sure it's a great song, but I'm going to be listening to this for the first time in-game! The minimalist style of the souls series means there's not much musically, so I'm going to let the song speak to me then. Needless to say, this is one of my most anticipated games in quite some time.
Pff... "there's not much musically" when the series has some of the best soundtracks ever made.

This is probably the only thing I'll get out of the game in a long while... It sounds quite different from the previous episodes, while still retaining a few familiar instruments... It's amazing :D
With the Souls series being one my favorites of all time, Dark Souls II has been my most anticipated release since its reveal. I'll be playing the PC version this time, now that I have a powerful computer. Majula is this game's hub, it gives me Demon's Souls vibes mixed with Sakuraba's style (especially the harp). It's a peaceful theme, but you know you'll be in for some serious trouble as soon as you step out of the hub.
