Still waiting for this game to be translated, probably my most anticipated translation project. This very unique PS1 RPG was ahead of its time and unfortunately never left Japan. It garnered a cult following. I often read people who played this game saying it's one of the greatest games of all time. The soundtrack was composed by 30+ musicians and is full of quality tracks. I find this very soothing for a vocal track, love it. This game truly deserves more attention!

Looked up a walkthrough for it, thought it was a generic RPG, then it smacked me in the back of the head. Now I need to play it.
I guess the way those people do it is take out huge chunks from 1 game and then pause and do another before returning eventually. Unfortunately, Moon has been paused at 99% percent for at least a year, and they weren't happy when people hassled them. I really wish they'd finish, though. If any listeners care, they can use beta testers! It's literally days from being done and it's the best game ever, so...
I agree with you. This game deserves more attention, Love-de-Lic deserves more attention. :/
Can confirm. One of the greatest games ever. I usually call it my favorite. You would like it for its charm similar to Earthbound and a week system which characters do different things depending on the time/day, kind of like Majora's Mask.

What is it with the PS1 and great RPG's?
If I'm not mistaken, this game was made by some of the same people who later went on to work on Contact for the DS, Little King's Story for the Wii, and the Chibi-Robo games. Which, if nothing else, explains the excellent soundtrack, gorgeous visuals and sky-high quirkiness quotient.
Totally. And we didn't even GET the weirder ones. Endonesia is a game about adolescence framed through being stranded on a primitive island where you solve puzzles with FEELINGS, and is absolutely brutal in its graphic adventure difficulty.

Interesting. Maybe it's because I don't play too many RPGs and don't ever wander into any online RPG communities but I've never heard of this game. Not even a peep. Very curious about this fan translation in progress now.
If this makes sense, the actions you do are all graphic adventure-style while the mechanics and systems are more like role-playing games (dungeon crawler-style stamina, levels, bestiaries). You can totally understand it even if you don't play role-playing games.

This is a very soothing vocal track. I always love finding these types of songs. I should try finding this soundtrack sometime as I like soundtracks with these types of songs.

I watched videos of it back when you showcased Hole in your Sock; it seemed pretty interesting. Kinda like an RPG Chibi Robo/Captain Rainbow if I recall.
