Oh man, I wasn't expecting to hear anything from Guardian's Crusade when I started this playlist. It's really nice to see that there were other people who played this game.
I love this game. When I got it second hand for only 35 DM (ca 17,50 €) in 1999, about 2 month after it was released in Germany, I was sceptical because everyone told me the graphic sucks. But I played it and while the graphic surely isn't the very best, it is charming and colourfull. The game is easy going with easy to moderately difficult, depending on Babys relationship with you. The characters are charming, the dialogues range from serious to funny and the little comments on the side are what makes me return once in a while to games like this. Instead of making the 20th FF game (Nothing against the FF series in general, I like most of the games, but graphics alone does not make a good game.) they could recycle and remake games like this and other pre-PS2 gems.

I'VE FOUND IT! I used to play this game back when I was like, 8. Every now and then for the last few years I would throw random words like 'magic dolls' and 'pink... thing?' into Google so I could find what it was called.

Opening almost makes me cry, it's so beautiful. The moment in the beginning when Baby is trying to get Knight's attention, and then he goes over to look at God's Tower gets me in the feels every time. The way Knight looks at Baby and then looks at the tower really lets you know your responsibility as Knight.

Really? I can beat that thing easily. Be at lvl 10, and hit it with a toadstool. Then Attack it twice and it's done.

I'm proud to say I started playing this again since I last borrowed it from my Nan (YES MY NAN OWNED THIS) 14/15 years ago...the same Nan that bought me Final Fantasy VII for christmas the same year...Say what you like about her, she has got the finest of taste! :D

My friend gave me this game as a birthday gift. One of the first RPG I've beaten, I've played a lot of RPG when I was kid, but didn't beat most of it. This is game is simple but there's complex story and character development in it
I remember the day my friend brought this game to my house when he stayed over. I instantly fell in love with the game. Ahh the memories. The opening theme is also one of my favourites :) Thank you uploader.

this was the first RPG i ever played and is still one of my favorite games along side Echo Night for ps1, shitty graphics (especially echo night) but best stories for both games i really want i remake of both of these games!
I remember this was the only RPG game that went above the lvl 100!
What I really liked about this game as a kid was that it was very simple, yet very moving. Who cares if the graphics suck? This game is awesome!
@Katherwin dug this out after 6 years. TAMSOFT should release the license so some ELSE can remaster it with new graphics

I have to say, this game's intro music has a bit of an 80's feel to it. I think it reminds me of The Neverending Story.

@Shadowpuppet7x Except it's actually fun to play... not to mention that it's not a crappy spin-off made only to make money off the name of a semi-good (though somewhat old and over-used nowadays) character.

-evil grin- the repeatitive (as in loop, not all the music sounds the same) gameplay music in this game used to piss my mum off really bad when i was a kid ^-^ but i freakin loved it, still do, this has the most annoying but the most awesome gamplay music ever

Indeed, that would be amazing. A remake of this game for the 7th Gen Consoles. It should have a mounted 3rd person camera... the aggro system still implemented, and same story and gameplay. Of course, new gen graphics along with the already epic storyline is killer. >:D

This game was the shit and a half, and anyone who says otherwise can kick themselves. Part of me would love to see it remade, but only if they could keep the charm intact.
