Bought ths game on steam 3 weeks ago... amazing game I like oblivion morrowind than skyrim lastly all good games soundtracksin that order aswell such amazing music
Of the past 3 elder scrolls game (I'm pretending online doesn't exist) I rank morrowind #1. Sure skyrim and oblivion made some improvements but I'll take having my own custom frenzy spell that can make an entire town level itself over your pre-fashioned frenzy spell that only affects one target for the sake of some animation that'll get old in about 3 seconds.

I just started this a week or two ago. The world is really interesting.
The world of morrowind is totally creative. Its my fav ES as a result. I hope you like it!

for me, Morrownd - the best game ever. Oblivion, Skyrim - cannot give such magic sence. Any single time I hear this track, my mind takes me far away from reality in this beautiful world
Oblivion and Skyrim had fantastic atmosphre too like Morrowind :)
I personally played Morrowind after Oblivion and found it much different. I wish that I played it back when it first came out, but one things is for certain, every time I played it after that I just spend countless hours exploring and going aimlessly. It would not have been half the experience if it was not for this music.
Morrowind still has the best OST of any Elder Scrolls title in my opinion. I was a bit young when it came out so I never got far in the game itself, but the music always pulled me into the world in a wonderful way. Jeremy Soule is very good at that. :D

Never played this, but this track is really entrancing.
Just about everything Jeremy Soule does is magical - done some really good soundtracks for KotoR, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Elder Scrolls and Guild Wars (and that's only a small sample of what he's done).
I loved exploring Morrowind, there was a real sense of mystery and danger.

Recently re-replayed it to check out the Morrowind Overhaul Mod, and man did that improved what already is an awesome game.

I don't think I'll ever get the kind of magical feeling games like this or the first Asheron's Call/Everquest gave me all those years ago. Exploring big open worlds back then was still very new to me and quite mind boggling. It felt like I was being transported into a second life; I was in awe of everything around me. For me, part of Morrowind's success came from your character's ascension: it all starts very slowly, having trouble killing even the weakest monsters, then ending up with godly powers after days and days of playtime. Jeremy Soule's music is a very big part of this game's magic. I want to replay it someday with the Overhaul mod which looks superb.
I love the music from this series. This song is so incredibly atmospheric and soothing. This might be a stretch, but I really think Jeremy Soule is the John Williams of modern video game music. His compositions especially his later soundtracks like the Elder Scrolls series are so incredibly mind-blowing. Also let's not forget that Soule excels at making atmospheric soundtracks for video games like Secret of Evermore and Dungeon Siege. Listening to this song makes me want to listen to the other games from this series.

The overhaul is just beautiful, it's definately worth experiencing, My only gripe with the game these days is the combat system, it feels absolutely archaic to me.
@IHeart16Bit It is, but thankfully Morrowind is part of the old family of RPGs where it's okay to not concern yourself much with combat. Also, just give new players the advice to be a mage, and they'll never know the difference haha.
