I just picked up a 3DS and I've heard a lot about SMT IV as well. Gotta say, after hearing this track, I'm practically guaranteed to pick up the game now. Sounds like my style of music and atmosphere.

I was extremely disappointed with the OST of SMT4. Especially after playing Strange Journey. Meguro really bested himself there, and I'm just glad he's back for Persona 5
This theme man. The composer really did a great job capturing the feel of a SMT game.

The soundtrack unfortunately only contained a few songs, and I believe most of them weren't from 4, but rather previous games.

I just can't wait to get this game. I'm going to enjoy the hell out of the soundtrack while playing. And what I REALLY can't wait for is Persona 5!
The very beginning was tough, but once you get your team assembled it isn't too bad. Always have every elemental type on hand.

This is my favorite game for the 3DS and one of my favorite SMT titles alongside Strange Journey. This song flew under the radar for me the first time through Ikebukuro, but upon returning there later and re-hearing the song, it has become one of my favorites from the game. Koduko did an amazing job with SMTIV's soundtrack, especially the battle themes.
Would you believe this STILL isn't out in the UK? I know, I can hardly believe it myself. If SEGA don't force Atlus to step up their localisation/distribution i'm going to be one very unhappy bunny.
Out of curiosity, how do you feel about the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem game?
Too early to tell as there's barely any info on it, but it seems very surprising and exciting. The fact that it's on the Wii U and not the 3DS is even more exciting as I really can't tell what it'll be like.

2013 is an amazing year for the 3DS, I really can't catch up right now. As someone who loved Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, I greatly look forward to playing this. I really like the atmosphere in these games. I was disappointed when I learned Meguro didn't compose this soundtrack, but after listening to a couple tunes I really can't complain. Koduko probably tried emulating his sound and it works.

Love this game so much. With all of the other tracks in the game (with the Tokyo Map theme, Shinjuku 2 (non spoiler name), Battle 3 (non spoiler name), and ??? Battle (non spoiler name) being some of my favorites. This track actually flew under my radar while playing this game with all of the other Awesome VGM the game has.
I really like this song. Koduko did a great job at emulating the style of Meguro. I really Meguro as a composer. You know what I'm also surprised about? I'm surprised that Koji Kondo isn't doing the soundtrack for a Link Between Worlds. No disrespect to Ryo Nagamatsu, but I think it would make sense having the original composer for the game do the music for the remake.
@Eric C. I don't mean to be technical, but Link Between Worlds isn't a remake.

@zeerinianu It's not an original game. Reuses old content. It's like 3D Land and 3D World.
@Eric C. Because.. it's not? There's nothing to argue about. It is in no way the same game remade nor is it intended to be. It's a sequel. It does have the same overworld though, and started life as a remake, which causes confusion.
Yes, what GKoopa said. There are a lot of similarities between the two games, but not enough for Link Between Worlds to be considered a remake...or at least, not a remake in the traditional sense.
@Eric C. The soundtrack is closer to the SMT composer before Meguro took over.
