I thought the music was bad as well, save for Cell's amazing theme. I still loved the games so much though

Yeah! He's really lose the touch or something... It's not the same guy that composed the wonderfull soundtracks of the SNES and PSX games...
This pretty much was the only good track in 3. Butoden 2 had a few ones I liked including the forest theme that was all Piano. I think it was classified as Gohan's theme in that game, but I'm not 100% sure.

Nice classic piece of music, though... I just can't bring myself to see Majin buu making that face on the cover. He is usually very happy or angry, not making a face like he is planning something.
Budokai 3 seems to be the best game in the series from what I've played. There's a surprising amount of content and it also represents just about all of the major plot points from the anime.

OMG! YES! I had emulated the hell out of this game back in the day. The soundtrack was phenomenal and that alone had me playing the game for hours and hours and hours! Easily one of my favorite tracks from the game!!!!

This song is literally the only thing I remember about this game. When I saw the name of the game, I was thinking of this song specifically.
The Ending theme is pretty epic too.
I played so much DBZ Butouden 2 back then, I remember buying this game (only released in Japan, France and Spain) and being super excited about it. Unfortunately, almost everything about this game is worse than its prequel. Half the content (no story mode?!), half the number of music tracks and a very lackluster roster. Only the graphics were a step above. This is easily my favorite track in the game.
