My girlfriend and I decided to buy a copy of this game after listening to this track. She'd owned it as a kid and remembered liking it. It holds up! Wonderful game.
I'm gonna go ahead and say this is my favorite PSX RPG. I spent an entire summer playing it and I loved everything about it.
I still replay it every couple years.

I was trying to find the melody that plays in the ancient wind and water caves.....i though this was it but it taint no aint noes nones not aint any isnts...help?..... ...and in real life alien raiders from the sky probably will pump an infectious radioactive mist into our atomosphere....from their floating holographic-ally cloaked cities......and only the oldest trees on earth will be able to detoxify it....by this time many a humanoids will have taken to a sim-seru like virus/chip implant....very mechanical in nature like a cyborg transhuman......and then another group will remember the energy used to communicate with the animals and they will take quite a different trans-evolutionary path.......similar to the story of legaia

PS4 "Geared for gaming" Period. If you want a smart box for your smart TV to run all your silly sports apps by all means get a Xbox. Xbox Highlights....look them up. "TV...TV..... Amazing game. I am a lucky guy to have known this game! :) not many people know, unfortunately. I remember when I used to play it, I was little and my two brothers used to watch me playing, althought we didn't understand english very well we figured out some of the story of the game. Not counting the soundtrack, one of the bests!

Legaia 2 had NO marketing. It was owned by Eidos at the time, a company that was failing left and right by that time. Legaia was too dormant and the series was never popular anyway. It's only well known amongst JRPG enthusiasts. It deserved better.
Whoa, hello there, guess who finally FINALLY caught up in your playlist? Me. And can I say that this has been a pleasant experience listening to the video game music you've personally have picked. Sure, there's some games that I wish had representation (wow, expected more Pokemon!), but I don't mind in the long run because of how much I'm being exposed to songs I would have never listened to otherwise! This game had a marvelous soundtrack and it really helped to further pull you into the game. I, too, am saddened that the sequel pretty much buried any chance for this series to continue, but it did not tarnish the legacy of the first game for me.
I only ever played the demo of this. The story seemed interesting, but yeah I just never spent much time with it. Hmm *sighs* maybe someday I'll give it the shot it never really got.
Definitely my favorite song from the game. Very fun game.

This is one of my favorite RPGs, very unique and the music is beautiful. Plenty of side quests. Such a shame it pretty much ended here.
This is one of those games that's a true gem. Not perfect, no, but lots of fun and really felt... different compared to all the other RPGs of the time. This would be a GREAT game to get some sort of update/remix. Give it some attention. Some attention it definitely deserves. Thanks!

Ah, this was a fun game way back. I LOVED the combat system and the story. And the music was always awesome!
After what Xbox announced about their system, I KNOW I won't be getting it. As for Legaia 2, yeah it did kill the series. The story was messed up, not to mention that it hardly had any ties to the first one.

I found Legaia 2 to be good when I was young... I haven't played it for like 10 years.
I never played this game, but a friend of mine started LPing it. One of the combos was "Hyper Elbow" and the animation looked so derp. Whenever it happened, I can imagine the character yelling "HHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR EEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!"

I really liked this game, it has a really unique atmosphere and I loved the battle system with its combo moves. It's too bad Legaia 2 failed and killed this series. As for the Microsoft conference, I said yesterday I didn't expect much software and unfortunately, I was right. Today's conference was one of the most boring I've seen in a while: Kinect, watching TV, sports channels, EA sports and Call of Duty. I'm giving MS the chance to show their games at E3, but for now... hello PS4.
