Me da la sensación de que es un cuento de hadas por toda la onda de los minish. Sin duda los juegos de diseño Toon son los más adorables <3
Underrated Zelda game. Although first time I played it I didn't like so much, but every other times I've played it I absolutely adored it.

One of those underrated Zelda games. It's not great in a few areas, but it has so much chaaaaaarm :s.
I got this game recently at my local game store. If I wasn't in the middle of Oracle of Ages I'd totally be playing it right now.

no game will ever be as important for me, as this one... all the memories. not only cause its the beginning of the timeline, where our hero receives his green cap, but also cause of the melodies and the retro style. oh my... this soundtrack means so much to me :')
as weird as it sounds, this was my first GBA and The Legend of Zelda game I buyed back in the day.

I started and i got stuck very fast -.-'
that one temple you had to redo over and over and over and over every other hour just completely killed it for me. It hat other flaws too, like the controls being extremely gimmicky just for the sake of it, weak story and one of the worst art design choices other than those just copy & pasted from WW. It had a few really creative moments in the regular dungeons, still it hasn't lived up even close to the expectations of a Wind Waker sequel.

Ugh. Minish Cap is one of my least favorite Zeldas, possibly even lower on the totem pole than Twilight Princess, or maybe even Spirit Tracks.
Minish Cap got a lot of hate back when it came out, didn't it? Handheld Zeldas were always kind of weird, but it wasn't nearly such a trainwreck as Phantom Hourglass was. I liked it quite a bit.
Even Navi waited for you to ask unless it was REALLY important.
Indeed Mnish Cap is an underrated Zelda game, it had great music, well designed world and dungeons and unique equipment for Link. The only thing that really bothered me was the stupid over-tutorialization of the game: Like, you see a room, a switch, get the idea of which item to use and then Ezlo interrupts you to state the obvious and make you feel stupid. Why can't he wait for you to ask?

I remember when I first got this from my brother for my birthday, I was really excited to play it so I told my friends at the lunch table about it. And someone called it Minish Crap, which kinda pissed me off lol

I think games like this showed the true beauty that pixel sprits are capable of. Hopefully even has handhelds move toward 3d renders the indie game market will keep the art alive for good.

Yeah, which is why I didn't mention Twilight Princess (awesome soundtrack). I was strictly talking about the handheld Zelda games that followed Minish Cap. Minegishi went for a completely different style on the DS since those games are lot more light hearted than TP, but the music ended up being very average save for a few standout tunes in Spirit Tracks.
Hey now... Toru Minegishi single-handedly composed most of Twilight Princess which is one of my favourite soundtracks of all time. His Zelda music is special to me at least.
I didn't realize the same guy did both DS Zeldas. Hourglass...bleh. The only Zelda I've never finished. Spirit Tracks is amazing though. The little things they changed in it made all the difference, especially in the central dungeon.

may I suggest Mt. Dedede from Kirby's Dream Land, it's another really short but great theme.
Even if Minish Cap is kind of generic compared to the other games in the series, it's still one of my favorites. I just love the atmosphere.
Hm, I may have to disagree about Spirit Tracks. Had a bunch of memorable good beat songs that fit the game. Otherwise, I agree with your opinion. Such a fun game and the music just helps enhance the experience.

I remember this was the first Zelda game where I completed everything, and I don't regret it; even though it took forever.
This is my favorite Zelda game along with Wind Waker :D
Oh, and I'd really like a Minish Cap 2. I feel like they could bring tons of new and fresh ideas with mini Link.

I remember when I first went into the Minish Woods at the beginning of the game, I knew the soundtrack was in good hands. It's a short but memorable theme, just like Link to the Past's Lost Woods, which served as an inspiration (the high strings from 0:26 to 0:35 especially). I feel like Takano really understood what makes Zelda music so special, unlike Toru Minegishi who couldn't quite get away from his Animal Crossing sound in Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks.
