Stats Update: Wipeout Pulse is a new entry to this list and the first racing game entry since #1225 (Diddy Kong Racing).
The music from the first Wipeout is really, really good. I recommend checking it out.

It's very good, I've spend a few hours trying to beat all the FOEs and such. Doesn't go far enough to show a lot a the full game's features though.

Fire Emblem: Awakening, the Etrian Odyssey 4 demo, Ragnarok Online, and SMT: Nocturne.
This sounds like the kinda song you'd make.
While I haven't played this futuristic racing series as much as F-Zero or even the Extreme-G games on the N64, I've had some good times with it. Wipeout Pure and Pulse are probably the ones I played the most because I liked their portability. Music like this fits the fast paced racing very well. RIP SCE Studio Liverpool, a very unfortunate move by Sony.
