Beat the game they said. It will be easy they said. WHO SAT DOWN AT A TABLE AND DECIDED IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA FOR PLAYERS TO BEAT THE MOST DIFFICULT GAME IN THE WORLD TWICE IN A ROW IN ORDER TO WIN?! WAS THERE EVEN A SAVE FEATURE?!

The Battletoads racing sections were basically designed to make you lose.
This song reminds me of.... Cat Mario.
I always thought I was bad at video gaming with 8~9 years because I didnt make it past the 3rd lvl And I sucked at the battle toads racing part
I was brought up on horror movies, so something like this never scared me, but it was, and still is, a horrifically difficult and frustrating game

Firebrand was the antagonist, and it's very rare for such an insignificant character be given their own sequel.
So in #1077 you said that you picked up "Zack & Wiki", have you played it yet? This very song among some other Capcom-goodness is included in the game, that's why I ask

Speaking of Firebrand, one of my favorite video game tunes is from Demon's Crest.
Classic song :) You should look up the theme for the Commodore 64 version, it's even better.

This was a true fox game. It was tricking you at every part till the very end... Quite literarly.
I remember finding this game scary 20 years ago when I was a kid because of all the monsters and its dark atmosphere. I spent so much time just trying to beat the first stage, this theme is pretty much ingrained into my brain. It's pretty cool how Firebrand, the main protagonist, starred in his own games.
