Amazing soundtrack and one of the most underrated games of all time!
This hits me right in the nostalgia. I'm reminded of when I would repeatedly rent this game (yes, RENT... I know, my age is showing) and thinking I was one of the only people who had ever played it. Right in the childhood. Thanks, Supra. :D
I used to think the same. It's definitely a forgotten gem that deserves more recognition.
I'm liking the backgrounds for the vids being like this; just a moving moment from the game :). Nice enough song too.
The intro bass line sounds a bit like Danzig - Mother.
It'd be cool if you included silent gameplay in your videos to sample bits of all kinds of games while at the same time introducing us to great vgms.
The same team made something similar for the Saturn, called "Linkle Liver Story" (that's the official English name, anyways). But it's kind of forgettable, unfortunately :(

Only today, have I discovered this was called 'Crusaders of Centy' as well... I only know it as Soleil. When searching for Soleil soundtracks, I never found it.. Luckily a link through a link got me to it's other name. Great game, and great OST

This game is sooooo underated. I found it by pure luck in a small store for barely nothing and god was it worth every pennies. Its a real gem. That and Lanstalker, which is my favorite game on the Genesis.

Eh, I never liked the VST's on the Genisis with exceptions like Vaporman and Sonic. This is a prime example of the other, just don't like the tone and quality of the instruments. Gives me a headache >.>

Humm the melody change at 0:43 took me by surprise, i actually thought it was gonna get "heavier". I think this song has some awsome remix potential.
Cool song! I think some games are missing in your best vgm list imo: f/e Paper Mario (64), Wario Land / WarioWare series and Mario Party serie. But as you said you maybe didn't play these games, which have some great music though.

Happy holidays everyone! Soleil/crusaders of Centy is a childhood favorite of mine. Remember still how i got my copy. Had had a really bad day at school . Sort of track n field day and i am so lousy at sports. Still wanted to once be the one who atleast made the top 3 in an event. So after the bad day get home and my mother suprised me with this game :). I still have it in my Mega Drive collection
Great game, too bad it tended to be tad too easy for me but story and music made me to easily forgive that. Also you should try Gunstar Heroes for genesis, it has some good music (especially ending theme) and gave a great challenge.

If you're a fan of 2D Zelda games, you really ought to play Crusader of Centy. Very fun game, one of my favorites on the Genesis. This game would have been such an awesome fit on Nintendo's VC.
