Oh no...I've seen Captain N. Yeah, it was pretty bad. lol
Well, obviously you never heard the "music" (extreme abuse of the word) on some Captain N episodes... To name but one example. The core games though, awesome music, each and every one.
Can anybody name a bad Castlevania song? I can't.

Haha, 0:38 sounds a lot like Gutsman's theme. I haven't gotten far into this game yet. I've bought it on the Virtual Console so I'm playing this version. I can't wait, because this is funky as all hell! <333
Personally I'd say there's better choices from both RoB and Dracula X, like Cemetary and Picture of a Ghost Ship. Still a good song though.

Funnily enough, I couldn't see a SNES version of this particular track being as good as this. I guess it's proof that, when it comes to the other tracks, it may simply be because I heard the SNES versions first, mixed with the nostalgia.
A lot of people would disagree with me, but having originally played the SNES version, I've always prefered the SNES version of this awesome soundtrack. Even if the sound quality is obviously not as good as the PC Engine version, I just love the crisp SNES sound they used. However, for some reason, this track never made it to the SNES. I find it's one of the more underrated tracks in Castlevania.
