quite reminiscent of the Rayman 2 soundtrack-- slow funk bass-line, space-y reverberating treble instruments... but then it gets more JRPG-orchestral for the build-up

im playing this game at the moment. its reaaaaaaaally good. i dont thought it is, but its like the first final fantasy games. only way better music and more options. its really hard

SOUND HORIZON IS SIMPLY THE BEST!!! O AO I can't wait for this game to come out in America. ^ ^ I also hope that Revo's going to make more music, not only just for video games, but anything really. ; w; The music he makes is just simply a work of ART! I also suggest checking out his Sound Horizon albums like Moira, Roman, and Marchen. Not only are they great songs included in them, the songs in the album itself is very intricate and all of them are connected through the story they tell.
Revo is the composer for the soundtrack for BD:FF.

Well, "bravely default" means to bravely take a step towards turning your back on your selfish promises and responsibilities, revealed in an interveiw with the game's designer. I have no idea why it has "flying fairy" in the title though. My parents are just going to stare at me and question my sanity when I ask for a game called "bravely default: flying fairy" this cristmas.
Actually, sorry to say, but the enemies actually get HARDER as you level up. They level up with you, so if you grind to Lv.99, the enemies will get incredibly hard... This game is soo difficult. I'm only halfway through it with about 17 crowns and everyone at level 60-or-so. I sure do hope they change it in the sequel...
I agree, I think the Four Heroes of Light was a rather underrated game. I do hope they change the progressive difficulty with the levels, though- I ground up to level 99 for the final boss and it took me a loooong time to beat it. Not entirely sure how it worked, but it could be fixed, in my opinion.
It's prequel, FF:4HoL (Which, is one of the best RPGs on the DS in my oppinion, and definately one of the hardest) came out in America, so it's probably gonna come out here. I loved FF:4HoL, so I'm really looking forward to this release.

Don't get your hopes up, most Japanese games these days don't make it overseas as an "official translation". Gotta find a way to get a fan translation and a pirated/imported version :(

Sound Horizon is an amazing band! They're a kind of "fantasy" band; they're albums each tell a story. Listen to some tracks from the Roman album, it's great =]

Nuanced and beautiful... Damn, I didn't expect BD to have a soundtrack this good. I do hope the game itself has similair qualities, even though I don't have a 3DS. It'd just be a shame to let all that musical talent go to waste.

I'm afraid if Square Enix decides to localize this game for western markets they will have to bravely default themselves and file for bankruptcy, reason being that the ridiculous Engrish title will not fly in English-speaking countries...

I was actually getting ready to ask what this game was but Supra answered it. My 3ds has had a lot of use this year I wouldn't mind playing this one either.
This game needs to come out of Japan at some point. It looks like the exact kind of classic jRPG I've been missing. The soundtrack is superb and might be one of my favorites this year. I don't know too much about Sound Horizon and its lead composer Revo, but this is definitely a good first impression.
