When I talked to one of the developers of this game about the music, he said that they got all of it from a website with independent composers that they licensed. I find this interesting seeing as the soundtrack is as good as it is, it's like a selection of great songs

I agree. The battle them in CStW is amazing, but BoDVII's world music and boss music was so much better. Both are still some of the best games I've played in recent years.
A lot of the comments were marked as spam automatically by YT as they were posted, I must have deleted my comment while unmarking them! hah. Cthulhu Saves the World might have been the bigger and arguably funnier game, but Breath of Death VII is still my favorite Zeboyd game. Maybe it's because I played it first. One thing's for sure, I prefer this game's soundtrack. I haven't played the Penny Arcade games, but I know Episode 3 was made by Zeboyd. Looks interesting with its FF6-like graphics.

I got both this and CSTW, but I need to play this game here again. I love these throwback rpg style games but it just never felt very natural for me playing them on my laptop keyboard so I kind of discouraged myself out of this one for the time being. Doesn't help that one of my "up" keys doesn't work on the laptop either. Anyhow I'll get myself motivated to try them again, this game had some great music for sure.
I really should get back to these games; I have both but I've only played a bit of each.
