I call it “V.” I called it “V” during development, but I encourage any sort of funny pronunciation so V-V-V-V-V-V is fine, as is vuh-vuh-vuh or trying to guess how many V’s are in it. Some people call it “Six V’s,” which is probably easiest.

I find it scary that I was thinking the exact same thing.

Now if only the creators of VVVVVV were ambitious enough to create their own artstyle and/or musical style. It's a shame.

Obviously this chiptune is more reminiscent of 8-bit games from the NES era, but I can't help but hear a little bit of Genesis in there somehow.

I still detest that particular area. It occupies a very small region of my mind, and haunts me on occasion when my gaming really starts to suffer. I salute those who can complete the game without dying even ONCE.

That trinket... So much ire... What a great game though, I sometimes come back to play it just for the music, The graphics music and game play all just seem to fit together so well!

Very entertaining platformer for 5 bucks. Great mix of unique and old school gameplay, all with an awesome chiptuney soundtrack. There's one optional sequence that took me about 2 hours to finally get to the end and get the trinket, I think it was the hardest thing in the game... 10 more minutes and I couldn't say what would've happened to my keyboard !
