I remember reaching the end boss (I assume) and the fusebox blowing downstairs. I found this game damn hard too so there was no way of me redoing that last boss :/. It was a decent RPG imo, with some interesting card battle mechanics :).
One of the many cases where a game's music is what got me interested in playing it.

Awesome game. Still, something that always bothers me in J-rpg's, is that 90% of the time you have one battle theme for ALL random battles. Making it annoying after some time
try Tales of the Abyss or Tales of Xillia ;)
I prefer Baten Kaitos Origins as a game but the original does excel in terms of music.
Honestly, the game is pretty cool, but I'm not into card systems and the pacing is very slow... But I keep coming back to the game because of the battle theme <3 I have it stuck in my head all the time :)

I started replaying this and the voice acting is just comical. Except Lyude. His is perfect.
First seconds and you can tell that this is a Motoi Sakuraba song! :) It kinda reminds of Eternal Sonata battle song!

I could start hearing this song in my head just by looking at the title, even with giving up in the middle of this game and not having played it for several years. Maybe I should give it another shot.

This game is totally underrated, and deserves more attention than it gets. It also had some of the worst voice acting I've ever encountered.
The drawing of the characters is pretty bad, but the story is awesome and that's what rpgs are all about.

I think I requested this song like a million days ago. Although I definitely enjoy the guitar version a lot more, this is the same song. lol Loved this soundtrack! A lot of spirit.
My sister has this game, all I hear upstais is: LIGHT FLARE, LIGHT FLARE, CHRONOS BLOOOW, CHRONOS BLOOOW, WIND BLOOW shit is annoying.

A revival of this series would be awesome, But with the 3ds being region locked, and the Wii U most likely being region locked, us europeans would have to luck out in order to get the game. And after getting Xenoblade and The Last Story I dont see us having much luck left>_>

This really reminds me of Eternal Sonata's Battle Theme, it really sounds a lot like it. Check that song out by the way, it's truly a gem.
This series is another reason I'm a very big fan of Monolith Soft. Even if the series didn't sell too well, I wouldn't be surprised if MS is working on a 3rd entry as we speak, for the 3DS or the Wii U. Whatever game(s) they're working on after Xenoblade, I'm very excited.
