STEAM is awesome, and it's free to have so there really is no reason not to get it - especially if you are on a limited budget, because as SupraDarky says, the deals are just ridiculous. They literally give tons of games away for free during these deals (like 40 games for the price of maybe 2 games - sometimes more). Another good place to check out is Good ol' Games (GOGdotCOM). If you are thinking of buying really oldschool games, I'd get them from GoG, because STEAM does suck at optimizing.

I haven't heard anything about this game but it looks really good. Have you seen Awesomenauts? It's a DOTA style 2D Platformer, you might like the music in that because each character has their own special theme song which I find a pretty cool thing especially for the genre.

There's no reason not have Steam if you're interested in playing games on your PC. Some of the deals it offers, especially during the summer and winter sales, are absolutely crazy. Once you try Steam, you never go back.

I almost bought this game during the Steam sale but I'll probably wait until the winter sale since I wouldn't play it now anyways. It looks really cool, I heard they've been fixing a lot of the problems this game had with some patches. This is an action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic Sweden, which sounds pretty awesome. This track is one of the more electronic and upbeat ones.
