Seeing the crumpled wreckage of Durandal in the background of this area was one of the most powerful moments of this game for me.
There is no a single track that fails in being awesome in this level.
Some where in an alternative universe, gamers are playing a "Xeno... Gears/Saga/Blade" collection across ALL gaming platforms

This game had one of the best collections of ambient dungeon/town themes. Incredible.
The DMT plane is what Abel's Ark was.
Prequel means before and sequel means continuing. I don't know what it's called when it's in the middle. What I'm trying to say is that I want to write a comic on what happened during the Xenosaga series. There's been many things that's been left out and lots of fans questioned and wondered what happened from the beginning, in the middle, and the end. I'm not saying it's official but I would like to write a story basically on what happened. For example, when the Durandal was being assaulted unexpectedly they first showed a scene where the soldiers were taking down the people of the Durandal and a soldier kicked a woman on the floor and the screen went dark and there was a gunshot. Now we all know that the soldier shot the woman, they just didn't show it, but according to me she wasn't shot. The gun shot was from my made character who actually shot the soldier and told the woman to flee. And another scene according to the gameplay Mary and Shelley were separated, but no one knows why. Again according to me, Dimitri heard a lot of gunshots and men screaming and of course my made character came in for the rescue but he was caught in a fight with Citrine. But in the meantime Dimitri told the soldiers to separate Mary and Shelley and to guard them, assuming that my character was there for them and that he'll deal with him

@Ray Shabaz I'm not much of a fanfiction person but I think it works, I disliked how that woman was implied to have been killed in cold blood so there's certainly room for your story to slip in to counter that I agree that separating shelly and mary was a bit random though

The beggining of this music reminds me of Adabat from Sonic Unleashed.
Reminds me of xenogear's one who bears fangs at god track.
There's a couple of songs within XS1 and XS3 that have throwbacks to XG but you have to listen pretty closely. 1's are kind of obvious since they were done by the same artist, but I think it really shows Kajiura's talent with the nods she threw.

One of the best songs, from one of the best games of all time. The trilogy is still my favorite collection of RPG's ever.
I just hope that one day we see the remaining six episodes... it is such a shame that gaming industry ditched such gems as Xeno series...

These are prequels. Xenogears is part 5 and Xenosaga is part 1. You should check out the Xenogears Perfect Works books.
The director of Xenoblade was Tetsuya Takahashi who was the same man responsible for Xenogears and the Xenosaga trilogy along with most of the development team.

And as much as I hate to bring up this argument, both Xenosaga iii and xenoblade prove that it is possible to make great modern music. Too many games today have completely forgettable music that you remember zero of.

Is it sad that he uploaded this while I'm replaying Abel's Ark? That is kind of scary that not only did he get the game but the area that I'm currently playing.
I just looked into a connection a bit, and there is some minor connection that Xenoblade has with the Xeno series, but it is nothing major or plot-significant it seems.
To this day, one of my favorite and one of THE best RPGs of all time.
I wish they'd put a HD remake of the series for the PS3. I never got a chance to play the 2nd and 3rd due to my PS2 breaking.

As far as i remember its pretty much dead since they shorted the number of games the series was meant to have from 6 to 3 which kinda lead to the ending Xenosaga 3 had which demanded for more but seems like that more will never come. As for Xenoblade as far as i know there is no connection between the 2 games, the only relation is that they are both by Monolith.
This song is really good. I played this whole series a long time ago, but I forgot about this song. I may have to replay this series again, because I forgot most of the story :/. Only problem is, it is quite long to go through, and I didn't enjoy Xenosaga II as much as the others...

Anyone who played Xenogears will recognize the theme Kajiura built upon for this track, One Who Bares Fangs at God (Xenogears' final boss theme by Mitsuda). Kajiura did a great job with this, adding a nice melody and retaining a good ambient feel. This really took me by surprise when I played this game and got to this dungeon, couldn't help but smile. The Xeno series probably has one of my favorite VG stories of all time. Too bad it's pretty much dead now.

Fast foward five years later and now we've got Xenoblade 2 with KOS-MOS in it. Not dead anymore.
Don't forget the rumors about that Xenosaga HD Collection that could(hopefully) come out either next year, or 2020! It is a rumor, though.
