This game had the BEST OST....incredible.
Some people just aren't ready for amazing games like this, and so they stick to shitty, simplistic games like CoD.
I loved how when you sprint, blossoms and leaves flow behind you and when you land it produces a ripple of the same. Really made Ammy feel like a goddess.

+Moop Bread It definitely has Zelda qualities. Overworld with dungeon areas, each with a map/key, etc. You acquire new abilities as you progress that give you access to areas you couldn't reach before.
I never finished it before it was destroyed, but I remember enjoying it because of drawing bombs.

This song could fit so well in any RPG.
I want to see Okami or a sequel (not Okamiden, although that is a good game to) to Okami on the 3DS. It will perfect Okami, because of the DS's controls fitting to Okami and the 3DS can handle much more than the DS, so the beauty of the game won't be lost in the transition. I mean look at Resident Evil: Revelations! LOOK AT IT! IT LOOKS SO GOOD! OH MY GOD HRNGJGUHSIF

I got the wii version of the game first, and as much as i loved it. The controls caused me some...issues. So many instances of the game not being able to tell what i was drawing. So when i wanted to replay the game, i ran across a ps2 copy for like $20s. So i said, sure.
As much as I loved the first Okami, it was far from perfect either. The game was just way too easy and the dungeons were rather dull and linear. And why would you buy the same game twice? It makes no sense.
I might be in minority, but i loved okamiden. Yeah, it wasn't perfect. But for what it was, it was dang good. And i'm so stoked for Okami HD. Because i needed a third "copy" of the game(own a ps2 and wii version)
It really is. A friend of mine went from being emo to being cheerful cuz of this game. I will play it soon too
I've owned the Wii version for about three years now but have never gotten very far in the game at all.

Played and got 100% on this one on the wii it is a must play.
Okamiden was just about as epic an adventure as Okami was. I also have to say that Okami wasn't as bad as I figured it'd be on the Wii. It certainly made drawing feel a little more intuitive, but it could also be a little frustrating. Overall, it's definitely a unique gaming experience, and I loved every moment of it.
How can you have only just uploaded this??? Easily one of my favourite VGMs of all time! :D
Ahhh i remember this track now!!! thank you kind sir! i cant believe i forgot this! i only played it just last year lol... but ethier way the game is unforgettable and it will be a game my kids will hear about. probably play this before some of the zelda title cause its just that impressive... now excuse me as i go and learn about okamiden and see if i should invest in the game!

Oh yeah - the puzzles were not puzzles, just barriers to progression. No thought involved. That was really disappointing. I share your frustrations, but I blame awkward combat on the DS control scheme being pooly suited for having the touchscreen integrated into gameplay. I also hate DS graphics, but neither of those things I would blame on Okamiden.
Probably my favorite game, filled with great music. This track in particular brings back so many memories.
Okami for me is the best video game i've ever played
You're a stronger man than I: as much as I loved Okami, I thought Okamiden sucked the big one, apart from the music. Combat went from fun to frustrating, dungeons were an endless succession of using your partner instead of any actual thought, and... blegh.

I liked Okamiden alright. It has most of Okami's same strengths and weaknesses: memorable characters, engaging story, but cutscenes go on and on and on. The framerate issues were nearly a deal-killer for me as well. Better than the Golden Sun sequel, but still a little disappointing.

It's hard not to like Okami, a magical and beautiful adventure with a unique heroine, awesome music and gameplay. Thanks to its brush style graphics, it's a game that also aged very well. If you have a PS3 and never played this game, I couldn't recommend Okami HD enough when it comes out. And sure, I'd love to get a full sequel on consoles someday, but I'm one of the people who loved Okamiden on the DS. One of my favorite games for the system.
