This sounds vaguely similar to the Temple Theme from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, though not as harsh.
Look likes 3 peoples can't take Golden Claw and leave pyramid alive.
Anybody else agree, that the beginning of the song, it sounds like the song when u play the Flute to go inside Rosa's tower in Dragon Quest IV?
I'm surprised by the fact that you prefere this music than worldmap's theme ! But she stills awesome for me too, this make me remember my first Cannibox one shoot. :p

Beautiful track indeed. I love Sugiyama's work whenever he does a Dragon Quest track. Pyramid was recorded on a symphonic track. Go to 3:02 on DQIII SS's Around the World.

Own this on GBC, been meaning to find a chance to play it...that may be sooner than later since Legend Of Dragoon was (finally)added to PSN. Maybe I can go switching between games...

As a kid i loved the pokemon games but then my cousins showed my dragonquest 1and 2 for the game boy. After playing it i was hooked on the dragon quest games and really love them. This one was my favorite of the old ones. I still play to this date!!
Gotta love the early days of the Dragon Quest/Warrior series when it wasnt cool to be a nerd. And you were the only one who knew what a Dragon Warrior game was.
Easily my favorite game of the Erdrick trilogy. The SNES version has some of the best visuals and sound on the console. I usually post the symphonic versions of the DQ tracks I upload, but unless I completely missed it Sugiyama never recorded one for this Pyramid theme.
