I remember as kid, absolutely loving this tune.. and would listen to it all the time nice and loud with my big headphones on as I lay on the bedroom floor. Tim really captured the essence of what I liked in all music.

And little did people know (and most still don't know) that the "Final" in Final Fantasy was to be Squaresoft's last game (hence the name Final Fantasy) before filing for bankruptcy. But they ended up making a lot of money from it and becoming what it is today.
Since Hironobu Sakaguchi thought Final Fantasy would be his last game (therefore the Final), does that mean that The Last Story also will get all those sequels, seeing as he thought that would be his last game when he made it?

Tim Follin is pretty amazing. You ever played Solstice on the NES? (I think it's only on the NES) At least the Main Theme of that game is by him, not sure about the rest of the soundtrack, there's only like 3 different tracks, though. You should give it a listen!
It's a difficult game.
Yeah... Pretty straight forward. Unlike Final fantasy when it first out. It was labeled "Final" fantasy. Little did people know that "the FINAL fantasy" would have 50 more sequels&spinoffs(I know, kind of a corny joke, you might have to read it over a few times to get it >_<)

This is from the Amiga version. Back when I was a kid, I had Ghost 'n' Goblins on the NES and I couldn't pass the first stage. This track is from the legendary Tim Follin and was composed back in 1988, which is really impressive. I can identify a Follin track almost instantly, especially with what I like to call the Follin synth starting at 1:25 on the right side and then throughout the rest of the track.
