The visual style, plus the feel of the game when you strung together move after move at a breakneck speed, made it an incredible game overall. Loved the soundtrack, too.

The main character reminds me of Orin Ishii from Kill Bill.
I have to say, though Mirror's Edge wasn't a good game, it was certainly unique and creative. And in this day of constant re-treads and proccesed sludge, it's pretty heartening seeing someone as big as EA actually take a risk. It's our collective fault, as consumers, that we didn't buy this game enough. If we had, EA might have seen that creativity and risk pay off. Not "FIFA slightly less friction Edition". Not blaming anyone, just sayin'
Why does this music remind me of Tetrisphere?
I'd say this game definitely deserves a sequel. An open-world sequel.
The game had very glaring flaws, not the least of which was how screwing up broke the flow so painfully (I know, I hate quoting Yhatzee, but the point was very valid). But damned if the game wasn't unique enough that trying to make a sequel and fix those issues wouldn't be worth it.

This game is very underrated. I had a lot of fun with it and the soundtrack is great too.
The story was quite crappy, to be frank. The environments and gameplay were beyond amazing, though. I agree about the forced fights.
I'll definitely play this game at some point. Still alive is one of my favorite pieces of video game music.

A pretty long mix of upbeat and electronic ambient music. The only way I can describe this game is that it's an experience, one that I highly recommend going through. Very unique game with an amazing visual style. I wasn't a fan of the few forced fighting sequences but the rest was very good.
