@Poppleman F*ck Buu's fury, the Legacy of Goku series have a weird battle system, the DBZ card RPGs were much better @Genda Nah SB3 sucked compared to SB1 and SB2

Ah, I hadn't notice you put this up. After all these years, it's still my favorite theme of his and this one my fave. Although the arranged version of this track for SB2 comes a close second.

i see... here in america they were saying the android saga was new episodes in 1998 -1999 or so, on cartoon network. i dunno how long the saiyan and frieza sagas were on before i started watching in 1997 - 1998 or so.
I actually grew up in Japan (spent the first 4 years of my life there; 1992-1996) and I grew up watching pretty much the entirety of DBZ there and GT just began when I shifted back home to India. The series ran from 1989 to 1996; the 3rd game was based in the Buu, etc. arc.
trunks was around with snes? i guess so... i thought dbz was from the mid to late 90's

The first time I ever played Super Butoden 2 was on a Famicom, then I realized that was just a bootleg version of this game... What an amazing discovery it was lol

lol I always thought this was weird because this game is old, probably older than me, yet I watched through the whole show through like 95-05 and I always thought that events like the appearance of Trunks or Super Saiyans was an up-to-date thing, long after these games came out. XD Guess that shows how long DBZ has been out and how far behind dubs tend to be.

@Luigi84289 Oh dear god the movies are awful. They so childish, loud, and alot of times they seem to stop and nothing happens for like 20 seconds. Also the drawings look better in the books than in the videos, but thats kinda obvious.
dunno about this game but I liked Hyper Dimension on SNES a lot, both in gameplay and soundtrack.
@Luigi84289 I have to kinda agree with you. The best half of the series is the first halv. The fights with Nappa and Vegeta is my favourite part. The one with Freezer is damn good too. Towards the end of the series it gets kinda ridiculous. They can blow up the entire universe by just thinking :) Also, the villians become kinda stock, every damn villian is "PURE EVIL" and wants to destroy the entire universe. My favourite book is probably nr 19.
God, I gotta go read Dragon Ball again :^
out of the three games, this one had the best story mode, the third one had the best gameplay and music, but this one's music is pretty cool too, though!

@SupraDarky You need to check out DBZ Hyper Dimension. Different gameplay from the Butouden series but man, I loved the OST even better. It's also hard finding the tracks on YouTube. =/

Fantastic theme! I'm sure there was an arranged version too on a Super Butoden 2 album. I always think Trunks got the best themes in DBZ games, especially in Ultimate Battle 2.
I had all the Butouden games as a kid but #2 is the one I played and liked the most. I've always been more of a Street Fighter player when it comes to fighting games, but this series' take on the genre was refreshing since they battle arenas were a lot bigger and open world. That and pulling off superpowers like Kamehamehas always felt awesome.
