Actually playing first game of the series... Is not a bad game, ye has the fusion and unique battle system, but the music is kinda boring except 2 or 3 melodies Tha plot the same... is like ZZZzzzzZZZZ I expected more from da game, want to play the second one... Its like a game of 8 but... I played a lot of RPG games better than the first Golden Sun, Ys VI, Rogue Galaxy, Shin megami tensei... KInda agreed of a very nice game, but cannot consider a masterpiece like the others T.T
game to go i do agree with you, its not a flawless game but there's no jrpg like this. Its a dark, historical & mature jrpg that takes place in the real world before the 1st world war with demonic twists and creepy undertones. I like how Yuri's psyche is explored...Such a great protagonist. The music, atmosphere & gameplay makes up for the weakness it has.
The first Shadow Hearts is better than anyone of those you mentioned there. IMO.
The first two shadow hearts made me cry...the first one was sometimes meh, but a great game after all. the second...it had no flaws. Damn. So beatiful. Awsome characters, awsome musics, awsome story...the only thing i didn't liked about Covenant was the final boss, wich seemed a lil random. Thanks supra for your continued work!
The Shadow Hearts series is my all-time favorite JRPG series. I get so happy every time I see you upload a new Shadow Hearts song =D.
Shadow Hearts is such an awesome game series. I only played the first one, but man did I enjoy it. It is quite the memorable game to me.
Yasunori Mitsuda is the best VGM composer, mainly just because of Chrono Trigger, which is my all time most favorite game. And now there's Xenoblade, so he's all the more the best.

I got Covenant but can't find the 1st. I've gotten the entire Wild Arms series. Every Xeno game, Beyond Good & Evil, Persona 4, Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, FF Mystic Quest, Turtles In Time, Goldeneye 007, and many more. So many great series I never would've even known to try had to you not shown their wonderful music. I'm not sure what class is beyond the Bard, but you sir have upgraded to it. Long ago in fact.
I just got this game for Amazon couple months ago. Many great tracks and a good story. Waiting for Imbroglio or Smuggling ship to appear on this list :D
Over time I've become a coffee addict; drinking 2 cups a day regularly. No bullets are present while drinking, though I suppose you could keep your sugar in the shells.

Ahh do I miss the Shadow Hearts series. I loved the first 2 especially. Refreshing, more mature jRPGs with a great sense of humor, awesome characters and a unique battle system. That and I was a big fan of Hirota's music, he really gave the series its own unique style (with the help of other composers too like Mitsuda).
