"El Shaddai" is for sure one of the most unique games that deserve much more than it got. Anybody, please, check this awesome game!
Bought it on release. Couldn't even force though the first hour. I tried giving it several chances but it just didn't click. The scenery is amazing, it really look good. But other than that, it dosen't have much else going for it; the fighting felt very tedious and the story was...well... I don't even

Same here, even though it was a pain in the ass to finish it was a decent experience.

Very underrated game--not the best but not bad either, although I was quite disappointed with the ending...despite that I still loved it, played it, finished it, and the art style and graphics were beautiful--unlike anything I've ever seen. I loved Armaros...his boss battle was hilarious! Git down wit' 'cho bad self!!

Hmm. I'll have to try this game out if I ever get a PS3. Assuming I can even remember the title, that is.
Even though the soundtrack and graphics are cool, I hate this game. The gameplay was terrible with some very boring combat and weird platforming, along with a very mediocre story.
@Neuf8 You don't really learn skills or anything. The weapons each have strengths and weaknesses, and sometime a boss requires a little strategy. But the combat usually remains the same. It may sound repetitive, but new areas and platforming areas help keep it fresh.
@SupraDarky It's so strange that you posted this because I just popped it in the Xbox360 about 2 days ago and started my file. Love the music. Gameplay is really fun lots of action. Also the fact that you can switch from English to Japanese dubs made me a very happy person.
I love this song, which is so weird 'cause I feel like it's so different from most of the rest of the soundtrack.

@SupraDarky man, you should check out some of the final fantasy: four heroes of light DS soundtrack. it's like one of the most uncredited games in the world... along with rune factory series, terranigma.... it's sad how some really great games are ignored...
With a name like that, it was destined for obscurity. I have heard it's good though, would love to check it out someday when I have a console haha
reminds me of FF13...I think more composers will start utilizing electric violins, it's an excellent instrument that conveys a simultaneous blend of classical meets modern.
@Neuf8 Its also pretty cheap now, being around $20 new.
@Neuf8 I haven't actually beaten it yet, but it isn't too short. There are 3 diff. weapons that play similarly. Music and Visuals are great!. If you enjoyed the demo, I'd say its worth a go.
I actually just started playing this game today. Made it to Chapter 3 so far and really enjoying it. Absolutely incredible visual style. Loving the music too, so no great surprise to see some of it make your list.
Love this game. It's a shame it was under the radar, deserved so much more.
It sounds like a mix between a song from Bleach and something out of the Tales Of series
This game flew under most people's radar last year. Some people love it, others hate it. It has some very unique aesthetics and combat, plus a great soundtrack. Another game in my backlog.
