It's the time guys!
Blue Stinger has some of the most original setting for a game, a small island with a huge futuristic scientific complex all with residential area and happy go lucky Christmas music while you mow down hordes of monsters in the market area. I remember liking this theme so much as a kid when my father was playing it, though he wouldn't let me play horror games.

Controls were clunky, game was a ripoff, but godamn I LOVED Blue Stinger. This song will forever be burned into my memory. I spent so much time in that damned shopping mall, grinding mobs to get enough money to buy GUNS and AMMO from vending machines!

I was eleven and I remember how blaringly loud and out of place this was in this game, and how much it creeped me out. Cheery ass Christmas music is a corpse littered supermall, wielding a lightsaber to clunkily lop limbs off of grotesque monstrosities.. Quirky and eerily wacky. Early dreamcast classic, at least in my eyes

I can't believe I remember this. I actually found a copy of Blue Stinger somewhere and it sat for months until I bought a Dreamcast.
