I still remember my first time playing this game, Freeze Man kicked my ass, then I got the Junk Shield, now I can beat him with the buster

This is one of my least favourite Megaman games overall, but it's one of my favourite for its soundtrack.
We need Slash Man, Junk Man and Turbo Man in this list, as well as the intro stage.
@tweltery Best Megaman ever, IMO, and I've played all of them but Rockman Adventure, the Japan-exclusive cell phone games, and those two Wonderswan games.
MM7 was good, but I'll forever damn that final boss. For some reason, the only classic MM games I haven't beaten are the 16-bit ones.

Mega Man 7 I'd argue to be one of best MMs, tied for the 3rd best for me, right there with MM9. MM2 & 3 are pretty tough to top for the others. As for Capcom: Y U CANCEL MEGA MAN UNIVERSE AND MEGA MAN LEGENDS 3???? And then that UMVSC3 Zero costume...Capcom is trolling every Mega Man fan out there. And sadly with Infaune gone, they have even suggested and rumored the Blue Bomber's death. I don't believe it though, it's unlikely and even if it were, I wouldn't want to. Mega Man was my first game.
@confuzzled93 Megaman 3, Megaman V for the Gameboy, Legends, X, all top quality Megaman games. I wonder how they "sucked". Yes, I realize there's a difference of opinions and that yours should be respected, but I honestly don't see how MM "sucked" after the second.

Stats watch: Now at its second song on this list, Mega Man 7 is tied with fellow Mega Man entries 10, 4, and 6. Sadly, if you add together all at of their cumulative songs, they still are one behind Secret of Mana (clocking in at nine).
7 and 9 are my favorite in the classic series. Nearly every track of music in 7 is memorable and awesome.

Megaman 7 was the 1st MM game i ever played so for me it has a special place in my heart and to this date I still pop-in my MM7 cartridge one in a while and play it through. it's the best in the series imo.

funny, I was hearing lots of megaman songs lately. I preffer Shademan song for MM7, but its my opinion.
Megaman's been taking a lot of hits lately, I mean c'mon Capcom, put him in UMvC3.

On the NES, you could always tell when it's a game by Capcom just by listening to the music, and it was the same thing on the SNES. This is a game I only played much later after its release but I really like it, like most of the MM games. It's really too bad they cancelled Mega Man Legends 3.
