This game is and was amazing. Sure it had its faults, but it was really great nonetheless.
You know, I was fine for most of the game, as far as the "manly tears department" was concerned. But damn, when this played, after that hugely emotional ending, I couldn't help myself.

@KingSymphonia I cried too when I first beat the game. This song is just so beautiful. This game is literally the best game I've ever played in my entire life...and it always will be.
I rented this game from Hollywood Video when I was like 8, and I couldn't get past the first colossus haha :P

@jasamdomo Not gonna lie it's better than I expected and is much better than Twilight Princess, but I'll need to finish it before I make more concrete arguments for or against it.

@nkelly1432 I honestly think SS is a great game, not the best zelda defenitely, but still awesome. What happens recently is in my opinion nothing mor than some flaming trolls leading a bunch of people without own opinion into hating SS, and the most haven't even played it
@eishikibahamut Is skyward sword that bad? Everyone seems to hate TP but I thought it was in top 3 zeldas ever.

Yay, this is probably one of my favourite songs on the SotC soundtrack, along with "The Farthest Land". The battle themes sound awesome but I'm more of a relaxing, sorrowful music type of person.

Stats update: with three songs now charted on this list, Shadow of the Colossus is now tied with its soul brother Ico. Both games kick major ass, by the way. Sadly, the combined total of both games doesn't even break half on the #1 game on this list (Chrono Trigger). More music from Project ICO!

Ueda is staying on in a freelance capacity to help finish the game - so it's not all doom and gloom. It does beg the question though, what is the big hold up? Something was clearly going wrong at Team ICO. The PS3 is heading for its twilight years (I think PS4 will be on shelves in 2013-2014) and this game has been in development since before the PS3 was launched. That's pretty excessive, even for Ueda.

@SupraDarky Actually, Ueda hasn't left the project. He just simply left Sony and is now working as a freelancer.

Beautiful track from Otani for a beautiful game. There's been a lot going on recently with The Last Guardian, Project ICO's next game. The director Ueda left and another person as well so I have to wonder if Sony might have interfered, maybe not too pleased with the game's very slow development. It's a shame though because Team ICO is awesome. It's giving me bad memories of Konami disbanding Team Silent which made the first 4 Silent Hill games.
