I can hear the Plants vs. Zombies final boss theme at 0:55! :O
Technically, you can hear this in the PvZ final boss theme. :-P But yeah, I noticed it too when I first played that game. The composer has said that the Mana series was one of her biggest musical influences, even if she never outright admitted to borrowing a melody from this track.
Also dr. Zomboss theme from Plants vs. Zombies, those notes there.
Shigihara (composer for PvZ) admitted she was inspired by this game (although not to borrowing the melody, which I think she did)
I totally get Jazz Jackrabbit vibes around the 1 minute mark, that made me happy :) This song rocks!

part of the track is used in SD3 in Meridian Child (after character intro) and Nuclear Fusion (first boss fight)

Bitch please, it's the final boss music, one of the most epic pieces of music in the game. How can this not be from Secret of Mana? You're showing symptoms of mana-withdrawal. Replay it!
Play it nearly every year and love to overpower the Last to Bosses... by the way Tantalus Boss fight Theme is great (the skeleton dude)

I beat this game on Virtual Console, and left it on the final scene. Every now and then I play it and let the music go.

Classic song!! One of the best in the 90s!! I can still clearly see the GIGANTIC Mana Beast sprite coming slowly up in the screen on this awesome theme!!! OMG!! What an ending!

epic ending to an epic game
The music from Secret of Mana was excellent not just because of the tracks themselves, but how flawlessly they blended in with the area you were exploring or boss you were fighting. This track is no exception.
This tune is absolutely flawless from beginning to end.

I havn't completed Secret of Mana yet. IIRC my last save is in Pure Land, or w/e it is called. Still have the cartridge and the console, maybe I should complete it.

I recently just beat SoM with 2 friends doing 3 Player. We all take 2 days off of work and have a 4 day weekend of just old school gaming. Fun times.
i remember watching my brother beat this game and when he got to this part it was so exciting. SoM has such good memories for me.
The snare bass on this is incredible! What a rhythm to save the world to. You can really hear aspects of this similar to other tracks in the game, but this one is still one of the most unique and memorable boss themes ever made. There was a really neat version of this redone, if you search for Aether - Meridian Dance, it's really quite a beautiful rendition.

YES! It took a long time, but this finally got included. This is easily one of the best final boss themes ever. Up there with the final boss themes from Final Fantasy 4 and Mario & Luigi 3.
Not sure if you still do requests, but after hearing it, I'm certain you've played Portal 2, but I gotta suggest Cara Mia, whether you put it up or not. A beautiful track that translates to have much meaning toward the game, and even the scene is simply awe inspiring. Not saying you've gotta upload it or anything, just hope you can recognize this and at the very least check it out if you have not.
Makes me want to play the game all over again...for the 12th time or so.
The only thing that pissed me off here was the way the boss died. It looked so corny with the mode 7 effects. That and I was greatly overlevelled which made for a laughable fight, but that was me. The rest was awesome.

I remember reaching the end of this game as a kid. And most of the music in it always makes me wanna go back and play it again
The final boss in this game was very memorable. The music was awesome, I had a hard time beating it as a kid, I thought the final boss was Flammie and the overall presentation of the fight was unique, with the Mode 7 graphics and all.
