This track is such a let down compared to the original. Not only is the soundtrack completely lacking but the entire remake of the game was too. The original is one that I am very very fond of and I honestly think it deserves so much better than this.
Gone were the days when video game and their music = epic!

+greenyxi if you have a modded system you can burn a DVD5 convert of it and run it like that, or better yet if you have the old PS2 run it off of hard drive reducing all load times to nothing.

@greenyxi Yeah I know that, I've actually just recently loaded this one onto my PS2, it's the last Wild Arms I havent played. If you havent checked it yet I highly recommend the tactics spin off they made for the PSP, it's called Wild Arms XF, it's very unorthodox for a tactics RPG but it most definitely is a Wild Arms game.
@Nikodem R Funnily enough, I downloaded that a few months back and completely forgot about it. Maybe I'll go for that soon :).
To be honest with you, this is one of the only good remixes in the game. Many of the rest sort of fall short in my opinion. Also the localization job is terrible. The characters have no individuality to them. They all sound like the same old Japanese man when they talk.

Yeah it's pretty badly botched both times, unfortunately.
@Masamune X It's also a shame they Agetec didnt have the money to do the VA in ACF (japanese version ahd voice overs in some scenes as well as battle grunts and such)

Great tune, from a great remake. My only disappointment on the remake was that they did not remake the Quarter Knight song (and no, the little loop they threw on Ka Dingel doesn't count)

Well I will applaud this song's (and it's PS1 version) inclusion on the Relaxing playlist. Always dug this tune, even if I haven't played any Wild Arms games.

@Smileoscar well to be honest, we still got Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Illusion of Time (Gaia), Terranigma and Lufia. But not Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana 2 back then. But yeah..we are a bit behind sometimes.

@electricmastro Well, yeah, I kinda knew that already. I just said I wanted to play this game, I don't know why you had to bring up those three Wii RPG's. I'm even a part of Operation Rainfall, because I want NA to be able to play these game to. Hell, look at the highest ranked comment on Best VGM 985, you'll see that I want you guys to play it as well!

@electricmastro So just because we get three Wii games, I'm not allowed to wish to play a PS2 game? Sounds perfectly reasonable. And btw, we europeans always gets fucked in the ass when it comes to localization. Either we get the game MONTHS after the US release (Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Catherine), or we don't get it at all, unless you pirate it or wait until it gets re-released (every fucking SNES RPG ever).

I think this is the largest gap between songs for a game. Well worth the wait.
I absolutely love the original Wild Arms (and the second one, tho after that, I'm not really a fan, TBH) but have never played the remake, Alter Code F. Sounds good, and I'll definitely try to pick it up someday. See the improvements and such that I've heard about. Thanks for yet another great song.

Stats watch: The last Wild Arms track was laid down at number at #908, almost 100 songs ago. However, the Wild Arms franchise has a grand total of 28 tracks on the list, beating out other such auspicious franchises as Xenosaga, Breath of Fire and Mega Man by 10 tracks. However, it still lags behind Castlevania, Zelda and Final Fantasy. PS, this is such a beautiful rendition of this song. Thanks SD!
