yay ^^ finally a piece of a new fave game of mine.the music in this game is awesome,although quite a bit is ambient,like this one.i know i forgot about this outside the game.i like how this borrows bits from other tracks.he tends to do that when he composes.
Strange Sim City vibe to this track.
I agree that the story was was pretty mediocre, but it was still a fantastic game.
It has similar nuances to a town track in Fable. Very soothing.

@QwoPhasaArius Thats exactly why I picked up an NTSC PS2. Seriously we never got Xenosaga III because the second game sold poorly... no surprise considering we never got the first game. Also Europe still has yet to receive any release of Chrono Cross! (Another reason why I picked up the NTSC PS2)

@SupraDarky wassup with all these games being confirmed for europe but not NA resently. Before it was ALWAYS the other way around and it pissed me off all the time in my teenage years. Im from europe :P

@bryanvang I do agree with you, however, we are looking at a story that has been retold a million times over the last 25 years, and it is a story that I don't find very appealing. Case and point, if the creators can't even think of anything better for a maincharacter then a teenager with spiky hair, a big sword who has to fight an evil empire, then I lose interest. Look, I'm open to it being good, but it is easier to say that is is going to be bad beforehand then being disappointed later.
I love the name. It's such a sly dig at Final Fantasy.
Ironic given that the same composer worked on both this game and Final Fantasy X.

@Ashadow700 I've heard that the game does contain a lot of cliches, however, my personal opinion is that cliches don't automatically make a game bad. Sakaguchi has always been great at making sure characters are endearing and that his stories, cliched or not, capture enough feelings to make his games memorable. A story is affected by character interactions and the creators' ability to evoke emotions, etc. That's how I personally judge a story, not merely on whether or not it's familiar to me.
You know, I am going to be the pessimist around here and say that based on what I have seen so far of the story and characters in previews, I think this game looks like it is shaping up to become little more then yet another typical clichéd JRPG-soup. Even though I'll probably give it a try, but after FFXIII, I'm not going to get excited about anything else from Japan. If nothing else just to minimize a potential disappointment.
gee, do what we did in Europe when games were not released and import them if you really want to play em. That's a thing that defines true hardcore gamers, not playing mainstream shooter games. Anyway, seems to be Reggies fault. Iwata is responsible for Europe too and we also got Hotel Dusk 2, Another Code 2, Disaster and even Fatal Frame 4 was close to release, but Tecmo was too stubborn to fix bugs and broken controls. He should have stayed at Nintendo marketing instead of becoming president.
@rtaipchk Yeah, but we got Terranigma which the US didn't see as a release back then. I don't know about other games we could've gotten and not the US, though.

Again, for the love of all that is holy, I'm sh*tting my pants from the love for this, and at the same time the sad realization they might not be intelligent enough to release Worldwide AKA in NA as well.
We were lucky! Nintendo Europe always give us this kind of gift since Terranigma on SNES. ^^
Out of the three wii RPG's heading here in the near future, I'll most likely get Xenoblade and Pandora's Tower. This one will be a miss. Not because I don't think It looks good, but because i just don't have time for 3.

Well for this game, it's just like Xenoblade. It's been confirmed for Europe but nothing for NA yet. I'm a fan of Mistwalker and Uematsu's music so I'm looking forward to it. This is a nice atmospheric town theme, I think it's the first piece of music I heard back when the game was announced.
