Valkyria is my favorite game for the PS3 along with MGS4.
I got the first one at gamestop for 15 bucks. Worth all 1500 pennies. I do wish they had continues the series on the PS3.

Technically that's still $400. He said 3 games. At $60 each, it gets up to $400 pretty easily.
Hopefully they'll do the same thing as they did with god of war, and release the two psp games on ps3 as one

I doubt that it will be localized after 2's sales (I purchased retail new copy!). Putting 3 on PSP was a mistake though.

Playing through the 1st VC and loving it. Cross between Advance Wars and Fire Emblem without completely being either (for better of worse). I intend to borrow a PSP and VC2 from a friend. :D Excellent upload btw SD! *subscribe*

@VergessenHeld Yea, it's pretty much one of the three games I want to play on the PS3. Can't quite shell out 400 squids for a couple of games though.
loved the first valkyria chronicles. putting the sequel on the psp is just a no-brainer. i'll pick it up eventually, though.
I heard VC3 is only avable in japan...and yeah...darn downgrade to PsP :(

@SupraDarky I hate when they do that. Not everyone has a psp. I dont have any of those hand help systems. I wish they would stop always going to them.

@SupraDarky They're probably building up to a bigger game than ever. I dunno, haven't played myself. But I do know it's the same people behind Skies Of Arcadia, and in fact Vyse and the gang shows up as playable characters in the first!

One of my favorite games of all time for ps3 reduced to a tiny screen with playstation graphics and less intense battles...yes I was mad

@SupraDarky I was a gamer since age 3 and all through my teenage years, but I basically stopped at 20. What happened? Life... career, relationships, day-to-day tasks, things that are overall more important in life than gaming.

@SupraDarky According to the developpers themselves: Cost. It's far easy to experiment with different gameplay variations in a game and see how fans react when production costs are far lower.
@SupraDarky i never bought a ps3 yet...partly because i don' have time or money and partly because they don't make jrpgs the way they use to...my roomate had the first one and i played the first few battles and was hooked...this was over 2 years ago...i really want to complete this whole series....and you must be in your 20s like me...i look at great jrpgs like literature i must must read and put in my collection....

I haven't touched this series yet. As I get older, I'm really starting to see how free time is getting rarer and that's not helping me when it comes to playing video games. I have a huge backlog. I heard good things about the first VC on PS3 and I thought it was pretty successful, so I'm still not sure why they decided to go with the PSP for #2 and #3. The series has really solid music by Sakimoto, one of my favorite composers.
