ok so im hearing 2 different versions of the same song circulating on net...........one w/ singing voice and one w/o singing voice.......do you know if the one with the voice is on the album?
well since kof 13 was the end of the ash saga, kof 14 may be a dream match like 98 and 2002, even though 12 was a dream watch. but usually thoses kof games have rugal as the final boss and includes most characters from kof 2003-13 so i doubt rock will be in it.
personally i prefer the ps2 version instead of the 360 version.
balrog's personality became different than tyson throughout the years. and capcom got back at snk for ripping off ryo but making dan, a ripoff of ryo and robert. plus eolith, the company that owned KOF at the time, said that he was heavily based upon tetsuo and his name was a homage to Armored Trooped Votoms. plus his VA was the same person who voiced tetsuo which is cool. even if SNK won't get sued, they don't like him due to the akira tribute but he is a fan-favorite, however.
they can't. k9999 is a ripoff of tetsuo from akira. if snk brought him back they'd be sued.

@WimpyMcWeaksauce I gotta agree with you and drums are the best way to create a rythm to a song. I dont get so see some in alot of VGM.
@CodeXCDM SNK made the game , so they can choose whatever they do whit the characters or story :D

@SuperMoogyD From what I heard, SNK only wanted him to be simply a tribute to Akira and that was all. In KOF 2002 it expands that part a bit further because it has Kusanagi, another Kyo clone who is voiced by the same guy who did Kaneda and they have a special introduction
@Alexandric4 But the KoF 2002 UM comes with the original 2002, with K9999 in it and all. I haven't seen any proof of the Akira creator(s) or licensing issues, but it's still very clear that SNK is not very fond of him.

@SupraDarky Nameless is replacing another character called K9999, which was basically a tribute to Tetsuo from Akira (he even had the same Japanese voice actor). Due to licensing issues they couldn't use K9999, so they altered his appearance and changed his powers
@BygPhattyPlus I always thinked longer about movementes and strategy in KOF than i did in street fighter , mainly because of the hardcor enemye you will meet in the older KOF's . Like in KOF 97 , orochi was so fucking hard the first time i played , but after a while i got used to his movements and destroyed him :D

Funny how he was made to replace another character by the name K9999. Reason being that K9999 just looks way too much like a ripoff of Tetsuo from Akira. It also seems SNK Playmore just does not like K9999 at all. He was also kind of a jerk anyway.

I always liked KoF, as it was a goodn change from Street Fighter, even though I liked that, too. KoF's playstyle is a bit different from SF, as I think it requires a BIT more strategy in using the moves as such. It promotes more standard combos and less spamming supers. They were also the first to come up with the Team Battles! You know, I really oughta get this...

The only way to play this game outside of Japan is on the XBLA. I don't have it myself but I have the normal 2002 version, I bought it back when it released. This version was released much later, in 2009. It has some new characters including Nameless. I was expecting some kind of weird creature because of that name so I was surprised to see he's just a relatively normal looking guy.
