classic castlevania is the best especially this one but the metroidvania ones are good too not really too keen on the 3d ones lord of the shadow was alright castlevania 64 sucked tho
yeah, but that doesn't necessarily make them bad. Metroid is a great game series and I have no problem with a game that emulates it
go back and play a real castlevania 1 and 4 are the best there ever was... all the new ones are just super metroid rpg

To be honest, aside from Symphony of the Nigt, I have not really played any of the Castlevania games. The music is interesting, though.
When I first played this game (YEEEEARS ago) and heard this theme at first a was like :/ But then I was like o_O and then like "Awesome!" 1:40 Best part IMO

How many songs you've chosen from this one game just shows how epic the music was. Almost every level had such a catchy theme
@Mdude123456789 I'm disheartened. If you truly want to play a series and enjoy it, actually support it and buy it. Emulators just kill. It's thanks to those bastards the DS version of Chrono Trigger did terribly(some leak happened, everyone emulated right away, over half their sales vanished).

@Arc13 oh ok beacuse i have a gba emulator and when i do console games it says somthing about the sound and the sound is off.

@Mdude123456789 Aria Of Sorrow does not have a remake. Or if you were talkign Castlevania IV, this is on Virtual Console(where I got it). That's the only place you'll find it other than on the SNES.
@ViciousOS really? never heard of that one. If only I had a wii still. I would of checked it out.

I was just listening to this soundtrack on my bike ride home. Super Castlevania IV's soundtrack is definitely one of the 16-bit era's best!
Love the piano in the beginning, one of the best games and soundtracks on the SNES, or any platform

@SupraDarky Always loved this song. Thought it was one of the best songs on the soundtrack, although not as good as the songs that came in the following stages. Never had too much trouble with the Treasury Room stage, but yhe moving platforms after the Gear Wheel in the last stage... now THAT'S what I had problems with.

I'm surprised you didn't have a tough time with the dungeon (stage before this one), That one gave nightmares, even now.
@ZWarrior006 Well, there' Castlevania Adventure: Rebirth for the Wii Virtual Console, that one's old kind of Castlevania not the Metroidvania style

I just downloaded this. And I slapped myself for each and every entry in the series. How is it I had never tried such an amazing game and now one of my favorites of all time? Super Castlevania IV is brilliant, along with most every other Castlevania as well.

Every time I look at that cover I see a skeleton surfing a block of stone.
The first time I played this game, I got through it without too much trouble except for this stage and the one later where you have to escape from the rotating saw. I like how this theme starts slow then eventually picks up with the percussions.
